"1,2,3...1,2,3". I count as I pump the chest of my patient. "1,2,3..".

"Doc malapit na tayo sa ER". Said one of the nurses while pushing the stretcher.

I was on the top of this girl doing 30 chest Compressions while on the stretcher. Consider her as my patient for now.

Actually I was on the hallway looking for my lunch but this patient caught my attention lumapit ako sa Isa sa mga nurse na nag-aasist sa patient.

"What happened?". I asked.

"Car Accident po doc". One of the nurses answered. "And as of now, bigla siyang nawalan ng pulse, I don't th-". Hindi na natapos pa ng nurse ang sasabihin niya ng bigla akong sumampa sa stretcher at sinimulang gawin ang 30 second chest compressions.

At first nagulat Sila. "As a doctor, rule number one; don't waste time and do what is needed". I said. "Move the stretcher now and go to the ER".

So ang ending I considered her as my patient. We almost entered the emergency room, I felt that there was a pulse but it was faint. luckily there is.

Bumaba na ko sa stretcher. "Assist the patient immediately". They do as I please.

This is it! I heard from Tito Charles that today is his flight. I don't know the exact time but I'm looking forward to meet him.

"[Are you free today?]". He asked.

I stopped shortly. "Uhm, maybe?".

"[Just a minute, I just have something to ask]".

"Is it about that patient again?". I don't know kung matutuwa ba ko or mawawalan ng pasensya to his patients. It's been a week since his patient admitted there.

"Okay, for the patient". I answered. Wala na Kong magagawa. It's my job. Our job. As a doctor we shouldn't ignore the patient or the people who need our help.
