2 weeks.

It had been 2 weeks since Sokka last kissed you.

You counted the days. Call it crazy. You didn't care.

You laid awake, staring at the blades of the ceiling fan.

2:46 am.

Sokka was to your right, facing the wall. You hadn't cuddled in three days. you counted that too.

You sat up straight, you knew you wouldn't be falling asleep anytime soon. You didn't make any noise. Just thinking. Did you do something wrong? Was it because of Suki? Did he still love her?

"(y/n)?"

You looked over your shoulder to see your boyfriend rubbing his eyes.

"What're you doing..?" he mumbled sleepily.

"Nothing, go back to sleep." You said softly.

"Why are you awake?" he said, furrowing his eyebrows. You laid back down facing away from him.

"it's nothing, really. Get some sleep."

"(y/n) its the middle of the night. That's definitely something." He said scooting over, wrapping his arms around you.

You turned around to look at him.

"Do you know how long it's been since you kissed me?" You asked, with no heat in your voice.

He leaned forward and planted a small kiss on your lips.

"Three seconds!" he said with a smile on his face, which made you giggle. "why do you ask?"

"Because the answer was two weeks," you said, "I was worried I did something."

He furrowed his brows and pulled you closer towards him, placing a hand on the back of your neck. He squeezed you, and even though it was just a silly hug, it meant more to you.

" I'm so sorry I made you feel like that, you could never do anything to make me ignore you."

"Really?"

"Mm hmm." He said, giving you a small kiss on your forehead, making you giggle once more.

"Ok, but you gotta promise to give me attention." You said, a playful smile on your face.

"I'll give you all the attention you want. Now let's go back to sleep, it's like - he turned to look at the clock- oh my god."

"what?"

"You actually just woke me up-"

He had to pause to laugh.

"At almost 3 in the morning, just to ask for attention?"

"I didn't wake you up! I even told you to go back to bed!"

He stuck his tongue out at you and chuckled.

"whatever, I'm going to sleep."
