Sokka x reader One Shots!

Part 4: Really?

Once you got inside, you went up to your room to put on some more comfortable clothes. You had made the picture of you and Sokka your lock screen, and just sorta hoped you didn't get a notification around anyone else. you sat down on your bed for a little thinking about tonight's events, and what they meant. Were you guys still friends? were you together now? You didn't really know, but Sokka came into your room at that moment, so maybe you would get some answers.

"Hey," he said sheepishly.

"Hi," you responded.

he sat down next to you, and you pulled your legs up onto the bed.

"I really had fun tonight," you told him.

"Yeah, I did too," he said with a smile. 

"So, ya know, since we kissed and all- I was just thinking- like maybe- if-" He ran his fingers through his hair, you could tell he was nervous.

"Go on..." you said, gesturing for him to continue.

"Do you like, um, wanna like, you know, uh......Ugh, why is this so hard!"

"because you like me," you said in a sing-song voice, a smug smile on your face.

"Yeah, actually," he said in defeat.

You laughed and waited for him to keep going.

"ok, um, Doyouwanttobemygirlfriend?"

"what?" You knew exactly what he said, but it was nice to hear.

"Do. you. want. to be my girlfriend?" he said.

"Of course!" you responded.

"Really!?" he said looking up at you, a surprised look on his face.

"duh," you said. You leaned closer to him and wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer to you. 

he leaned his head to the left and pulled you in for a kiss. you laughed into the kiss, just thinking about the events that led to this moment.

"Heyy! Why are you laughing?!" he said, chuckling.

"Oh nothing.." you said, still laughing.

a few minutes passed, full of joking and giggles, and eventually, you laid down, your back to his chest.

"I think I get to stay, right?"

"Only if you want to," you said, turning towards him.

"So...Yes?"

"Yes, Sokka. You can stay," you said, giggling once more.

"I was just making sure!"

"I know, I know," you said turning back around.

he lightly chuckled, which sent a shiver down your spine. He rested his head on your shoulder and placed a small kiss on your neck, then smiled up at you. Woah. 

"Goodnight y/n," he said.

"goodnight" you giggled.

he knew exactly what he was doing, but he didn't seem to care. he kept his head in the crook of your neck and closed his eyes. eventually, you did the same.

"Can I be little spoon?"

A/N: I super love the idea of little spoon Sokka, so I put that end at the end of the chapter. Also, this part is super short because I really just wanted to push something out since I haven't updated in a while. I made sure to include a little bit of "I Can't Function Around Pretty Girls" Sokka as well, so I hope that was accurate.
