'Manik kuch baat krni thi'

'ji uncle kahain'

'beta baat tu ab bahir nikal aye ha apki aur nandini ki lekin mein chaha raha tha agar apka Nikkah kuch mahino baad karain, abhi Nandini ready nahi' Asad spoke while Manik was stunned at his position. 

He was hoping to get married within the next few weeks because he cannot stay away from the love of his life and this distance has become torture for him. He composed himself quickly and replied with full respect. 

'Ji uncle jaisay ap sab baray decide karain' Manikl replied 

Zoya and Aliya also walked in at the same time. 

'Chalain Manik bhai mein ready hon' Aliya chirpped 

'Han chalo chalain' manik said getting up 

'Arrre chai tu pelo' Asad said standing up as well. 

'nahi uncle, phir kabhi mein chalta hon' Manik said while walking towards the main door and Aliya followed him after meeting her parents. 

Zoya looked towards the staircase and said with worry

'Hum theek kr rahay hain na' Zoya asked in a worried tone

'I hope so' Asad said with a sigh 

'Manik acha larka ha hum jantay hain usay, uski family ku hamary samnay bara hoa ha, kisi aur ku bhi tu apni beti deni ha tu usku kyun na dain jo hamaray samanay bara hoa ha aur hamain pata ha woh usay khush rakhay ga aur family bhi tu kitni achi, koi problem nahi ho gi Nandini ku' Asad reasonsed to which Zoya just hummmed

Manik was furious, he knew Nandini has created some drama again because of the conversation Zoya and Aliya were having and especially after hearing Asad's request. He wanted to go back and asked Nanindi what she has done or call her right now but he controlled because of Aliya. 

After he reached home, he was very disturbed and after saying salam formally he went towards his room. 

Everyone at his household got happy seeing Aliya but Ayesha was a bit worried because Nandini did not come and she tried to ask Aliya as well to which she brushed off with a random excuse.

Manik was pacing here and there in his room, he took off his coat and threw it on the bed. His hair was all over the place due to the constant running of his hand. 

He called a few times on Nandini's number but she did not pick, after few tries, his call did get accepted and a very sleepy voice said 'Hello'

'Khabardar jo phone band kiya tu, meray say bura koi nahi ho ga, tumay mera piyara dekha ha yeh na ho kh mera woh roop dekhna paray jo tum dekhna nahi chahati.' Manik shouted 

Nandini got startled at his shouting voice and quickly sat up

'Manik Kuch hoa ha' Nandini asked calmly 

'Yeh tu tum mujhay batao konsa tamasha lagaya ha aj tumnay, kiya baat ki ha uncle say' Manik roared, there was no stopping of his taunts 

'Manik apka jab gussa theek ho jaye tab call krna, mujhay aisay baat nahi krni' Nanindi replied 

'Nandini mera dimagh kharab mat karo, batao mujhay uncle nay kyun kaha ha kh nikkah abhi nahi hoga' Manik shouted again but after listening this information Nandini was shocked as well. 

'Manik mujhay nahi pata, meri aisi koi baat nahi and meinay aisa kuch nahi kaha' Nandini stuttered 

'Tu phir uncle nay aisa kyun kaha, kal take tu woh bilkul theek that achanak kiya hogaya' Manik questioned arrogantly

'Yeh ap kis tarah baat kr rahay hain mujh say, mujhay baat he nahi krni ap say, isliye mein mana kr rahi this jab say rishtay ki baat hoi this, kyun kh ap aik number kh batamiz insan hain' Nandini shouted 

'Batamizi tu dekhi he nahi ha tum nay meri, ready ho jao mein tuhmain lena a raha hon, idhar sab tumhara pooch rahay thay especially Ma, unku kiya pata unki honay wali bahu un say aur unkay ghar walon say itni nafrat krti ha kh bahanay bana rahi ha shadi todnay kay.' Manik said with a stern tone 

'aisa kuch nahi ha, mein apku bata rahi hon meinay aisa kuch nahi kaha' Nandini said with guilt 

'Mein sab samajh gaya hon, tumhain shadi nahi krni theek ha, Dida ki shadi khatam honay ka wait kr lo mein khud mana kr don ga, itna tu sabar kr lo gi ya yeah bhi nahi ho ga tum say' Manik was not stopping anytime soon and each word was making Nandini more hurt and guilty. 

'Me... Mein....ai....aisa.... Manik... me..mera...woh' Nandini didn't know what to say 

'I don't wanna talk about this topic anywhere, batao mein laynay aon ya nahi' Manik said with little hope

'......' Nandini was so confused that she couldn't answer, she didn't know why everything was happening so fast, one minute this... another minute that. 

'You know what forget it!' Manik got so annoyed bcz Nandini wasn't answering he just cut the call and layed down on his bed to calm his nerves. 

On the other side, Nandini was so shocked she kept staring at the phone. After thinking a lot, she decided to go downstairs.

Asad and Zoya were sitting in the living room watching the news. Zoya saw Nandini coming downstairs and called her towards herself.

'Kaisa feel kr rahi ha meri beti, mujhay tu laga ap subah he uthain gi' Zoya said while creasing her hair

'Mein tu so rahi this lekin kaam say phone aya tha, chutiyan confirm ho gaye hain meri dida ki shadi kh liye, tu mein soch rahi thi mein bhi Mukti ki taraf chali jati hon. wessay bhi Aliya aur Mukti itni pictures and videos bhaj rahi hain masti krtay hoye' Nandini tried to make excuse to go so she could go and talk to Manik 

'chalo yeh tu acha ho gaya ha, mein Manik ku call krti hon woh lay jaye ga tumhain' Asad chirpped in 

'nahi Baba mein chali jaon gi' Nandini said as she didn't want to bother Manik and make him more angry

'Inti raat ku safe nahi ha akele jana mein chor deta hon' Asad said 

'Koi baat nahi mein subah chali jaon gi' Nandini didn't want to disturb her parents 

'mein bhi chalti hon thori dair bhat kr a jain gaye' Zoya suggested 

'Yeah bhi sahi ha, jao apni cheezain lay ao' Asad said while getting up to get his keys

'Ok Baba' Nandini said while getting up
