Chapter 3- Emotions Overflowing

Chapter 3:

'What are you doing here? Koi a jaye ga' she panicked while looking here and there.

'So, what? I came to talk to you. Why were you not looking at me?' he complained in the most adorable way.

'What do you mean not looking and talking to you?' she whispered

'I have told you to look at me and talk to me like everyone else does!' he caressed her right cheek

'And I have told you I don't talk to boys; my dad doesn't like that!!' she told him

'But I am not any boy, and I am sure your dad does not have any problem with me. He loves me yarr!' he explained his pov

'yeh right!' Nandini rolled her eyes 'And when he will punch you for coming near me then I will ask you how much he loves you'

'Aree, don't scare me' Manik acted like he is scared.

'You think I am joking here! I am serious and I don't like you so go away from here!' Nandini pushed Manik and turned around to finish her work. This made Manik very angry. He turned her around: his one hand was on her waist and other behind her neck. Nandini struggled in his hold.

'Kia kr rahay ho, shoro mujhay?' exclaimed Nandini

'Aik baat kaan khol kr sun lu!! You are mine!! I get what I want in my life and I want you now so you have to come in my life, samjhi' Manik said while coming dangerously close to her face.

'I am not an object that if you want me, you can have me! And stop manhandling me; samjhay!' She pretended to be strong and showed him her index finger.

Manik rolled his eyes and kissed her finger. Nandini quickly took back her finger and fumed when she saw him smirking.

'Get ready to be mine, Mrs Malhotra' Manik pecked her cheeks and left her.

'In your dreams' Nandini said while rubbing where he kissed

Everyone was sitting in the living room when Nandini brought the dessert for everyone. Three elders were sitting together, Aliya and Mukti were busy in themselves and Faiza and Manik were sitting beside each other. She gave the dessert to everyone very nicely however at last she came to Manik and thrusted the plate in his hand. Manik winked at her to which she gave an angry glare and walked off to sit beside Aliya and Mukti.

'App nay phir usay sathaya ha' whispered Faiza

'kisku?' Manik asked innocently

'Yeah right, you don't who I am talking about?' Asked Faiza

'No Di I don't know!!' replied Manik with an adorable face. Anyone can come in his words but not Faiza as she knows her brother too well.

'So, you are not going to tell me, theek ha mein Ma ku bata deti ho' Faiza threatened

'Acha Acha sorry na! I will tell' Manik quickly said because he doesn't want to spoil his good boy image especially in front of Khan family.

He narrated everything to Faiza, 'what's my fault? She is so difficult; she just doesn't understand how much I love her! I need her in my life! Di' sighed Manik. Faiza kept a hand on his shoulder as a sign of support.

'Don't worry, everything will be fine.' Faiza said to give him some support 'look at the bright side, you are going to spend a lot of time with her during my wedding preparations, so maybe that time will change her feelings towards you' Faiza said to give him hope.

'Di! I know she has some feelings for me whether its love or like but it's there somewhere in her heart. It's just that she is too sacred to hurt her family; she thinks they will not like her choosing a life partner.' Explained Manik

'But she is right in her place because have you seen uncle, he is a bit strict. The best way to take this forward is wedding' Faiza said excitedly, Manik gave her a look that said 'elaborate please'.

'Okay so from my observation I think that Unlce will do an arranged marriage. We are family friends, he knows you so well and most of all he likes you. So, if mum takes your alliance there is no reason why uncle will say no for you. This way you will get your love and Nandini will not have to go against her father' Faiza looked at him with hope.

'Hmmm, I will think about it' said Manik and got engrossed in his thoughts.

On the other side, both the girls noticed that Nandini is very quiet.

'What happened to you?' asked Mukti while putting an arm around her shoulder

'Nothing! was thinking about work' Nandini said to save herself

'Really work, what is there to think about work. It's so boring' exclaimed Mukti

'Maybe she is thinking about someone special who she meets at work' exclaimed Aliya. Nandini showed her eyes.

'What rubbish? If you don't know about anything then don't talk about it' she said sternly

'But Nandini I think Aliya is right, is it Mr Ahmad or Mr Sheikh? They both are so hot!!' Mukti said dreamily.

'Shut up, both of you are idiots and only talk nonsense. I am going!' saying this Nandini got up and moved towards the garden. Unknown to them two other people have heard their conversation as well.

In the garden she was standing alone, staring at an empty space when she felt a hand gripping her upper arm and in a blink with was thrusted into someone's chest. She wiggled in his hold but the hold didn't lose but only became tighter.

'What was Mukti saying; you like someone at your work?' Manik asked, he was losing his patience. His body was stiff and his eyes were red because of the anger.

'Leave me you are hurting me' said Nandini while trying to lose his grip.

'You are not going at work from tomorrow, you don't know what type of creeps are there. I can't afford to lose you. I have decided you are not going at work. I will talk to uncle.' Manik blabbered

'You can't decide for me, If I like someone or someone likes me it's not your problem' said a fuming Nandini

'It's fucking my problem, you are MINE!!' Manik screamed on her face. He didn't know what to do, Nandini's thoughts always calmed him down but today that wasn't working as well.

Manik lose his hold when he saw tears forming in her eyes. When Nandini felt he was no more holding her; she quickly pushed to create a space between them.

'I am not yours and so what if I like someone at my work, it's not a sin!' Nandini said while gaining some courage.

'Nandini' a roar was heard in Khan house, and Nandini immediately regretted saying what she just said.
