Five

Tendou jolted awake upon hearing y/ns loud alarm, the beeps gradually getting louder. He didn't even know why she had alarms, its not like they actually woke her. Tendou was convinced that even if the entire world were to blow up, she would find some way to sleep through it. He rubbed his eyes and nearly punched the clock out of annoyance. 4:35am it read.

If he was being honest, waking y/n always scared him, even in high school. No matter how many years it had been, y/n still woke like an angry beast. Nevertheless, she needed to go to work and he'd rather deal with her morning anger than to have her upset about being late to work. She was the most puntual person he'd ever known.

He gulped and hesitantly poked his wife, who looked so peaceful in her slumber. Tendou had a feeling that she would bite his head off, her anger from the night before would only add fuel to her morning fire that burned furiously.

"Wakey wakey y/n~" Tendou sang in a tune as he shook her. "Time to get up~"

Y/n made a cringing face and sniffed before her eyes stirred open. Tendou swore that he felt his heart fall to his ass as he waited to meet y/ns fury.

She sighed and rubbed her eyes while moving to sit up, her hair a rats nest. Tendou held his breath as she turned to look at him.

Y/n tucked her hair behind her ears, feeling a wave of relief wash over her. She smiled. "You came home".

Tendou stared at her in surprise, though their room was dim, he could clearly see dark circles under her eyes, signifying her genuine exhaustion.

"What?". Why wasnt she trying to rip his eyes out? Why was she smiling? If anything, y/n being calm scared him more than her furiousness.

Y/n wrapped her arms around his waist and sighed, "You left last night, i was worried. I didn't know when or if you'd come home. I'm just glad you made it home alright"

She was worried?, "Oh, y/n. Why wouldn't i come home?" He said as he held her closer.

"I wouldn't have" Y/n muttered. "I-i was so mad that i would've just stayed somewhere else and come back the next morning"

"Well, no more of that" Tendou kissed her head, "You need to get ready"

Y/n groaned, "I know" She whined and slipped out of bed.

As she got ready, Tendou decided to make her some breakfast and lunch, since he didnt get to properly apologize last night. 

She walked out their room wearing a tight blue skirt and a white button up shirt, half of her hair was neatly done in a clip, the bottom half she let fall loosely around her shoulders.

Tendou whistled upon seeing her, "You sure you're just going to teaching kids?"

Y/n laughed and swatted him, "Yes, pain in the ass kids". She smacked the counter and sat on a barstool. "Whats cookin?"

"Pancakes, eggs, bacon, and potatoes. For lunch im making you a sandwich... sorry"

Y/n dramatically gasped, "Youre  making me  lunch? Whats the special occasion?"

Tendou made her plate and set it in front of her with a sigh, "I realized a lot on my walk yesterday and i just wanted to apologize. I should've be there for you when we first heard the news"

Y/n looked at her plate. She was hoping that he'd apologize for forcing the whole pill thing down her throat but... she was glad that he apologized anyway.

"I'm sorry too, i shouldn't shout at you, no matter how angry i get"

Thats  what she was sorry for? Tendou stayed quiet as he packed her lunch, she noticed this.
