Chapter 2

Adley (C)
"What should we do" Ardan asked. Katie got up and went into her closet. She came out with a bin of rocket candies. "Woah where did you get that?" I asked. "I have my ways." Katie said laughing. We each ate about 5 packets and then had a bright idea to crush them up and snort them up our noses. "I will go first" I volunteered. I put my nose up to the powder and inhaled.  When I tell you it stung IT STUNG. I was freaking out while
everyone was laughing. "My turn!" Katie said. Soon we were the ones laughing while she was violently fanning her nose. Next Ardan went. She took it pretty well but then couldn't get it out so starting freaking out. Finally Morgan went. She inhaled a little to deeply and started choking. I laughed until I realized she wasn't stopping. I ran over and started hitting her back. But then Ardan screamed that I was doing wrong so we got Morgan some water and she calmed down. "Yeah let's do something else" Katie said. "I'm thirsty" Ardan declared so we ran downstairs to Katie's fridge. 12 cans of pop. We all looked at each other and then each grabbed 3 and snuck back upstairs. We all chugged 3 cans of pop each in about 15 minutes. That's when the sugar rush happened. Soon we found ourselves dragging all the mattresses and pillows we could find underneath Katie's balcony. It wasn't a far jump but it sure looked like one. I went first a little scared but then I jumped. I landed nicely on the padding and laughed. "That was awesome!" Everyone followed until Katie's mom yelled at us. We all dragged the mattresses back and then went up to her room

Katie (K)
After that amazing rodeo my mom yelled at us because she was trying to sleep. She's working the night shift at the hospital. We apologized but it was so hard, we couldn't stop laughing. But we calmed down and went to my room and went on our phones. It was peaceful. I was scrolling thorough Instagram and all I could see was fan art and comments regarding my dads death or disappearance, who knows what happened to him. I can't cry I thought to myself, not in front of them. Gosh, I miss my dad allot and it's been 2 years since the blip, but I'm not alone. While thinking of something to do my mom leaves and it's supper time. "Any one down for fried chicken?" I ask. "No let's get pizza" Ardan said. "To bad I'm the man of the house I decide" I teased Ardan. "Oh so you are a guy now?" Ardan shot back, we started laughing. We all decided on tacos and talked about boys until the food arrived. We all went down to the kitchen to get plates. Since I'm an only child I have the second floor so myself pretty ric- I mean sick huh. Adley had the idea to race down the stairs and see who could go faster. Me and Adley took the left staircase while Ardan and Morgan took the right. Morgan almost fell down the stairs trying to go faster then us, but when Morgan and Ardan took the lead I waved my hands in circular motion and opened a portal to the kitchen. Adley fell over when she jumped out which was hilarious. " hey, you can't do that!" Protested Morgan. " No one said that before the race". I said betting my life she would say well played. "Well played." BINGO! I do knew it. Then we got our tacos ready and went up back up to my room.

Morgan (H)
When we got back to Katie's room we decided to pull an all nighter. We were all excited because we had the house to ourselves so we could do whatever we wanted. It's not often that we get to be by ourselves together but when it happens it's fun. "How many tacos do you think I can eat in 2 minutes." Ardan said. "I think 4 but i could eat more than you" Adley challenged. Me and Katie looked at each. We knew what was gonna happen next. "Let's see" Ardan said. " Katie,Morgan time us" We started the timer the second they started and Ardan and Adley started shoveling tacos into theirs mouths. I looked at Katie and said "I wonder how much money we could get if we sold them to a farm" we both laughed. "Times up!" Katie announced. " wow Adley got 4 and a half while Ardan got 5!" They had food all over their faces and burst into laughter. We were almost dying of laughter at this point and it wasn't even funny. Once we calmed down we decided to watch a scary movie. We watched "the death don't die". I was really scared but no one else seemed to mind. The movie finally finished so we turned it off. "Do you guys hear that?" Adley asked. "Hear what?" Katie asked. " shhhh listen". We all stopped talking then heard footsteps. "Maybe it's your mom" I said scared. "No she doesn't get home until 5:00 Am it's 2:00 Am." Katie said as we sat there in complete silence for a couple sentences. Then Ardan said "let's go check it out" Katie quickly grabbed the necklace her dad gave her as she walked out the door. As quietly as possible we walked out Katie's room and down the stairs. There were three men standing there. "We are here" one of the men said talking into a walkie talkie. At this point I was shaking. "Find the girls and bring them to me" a voice said coming from the walkie talkie. My Dad always told me if I fell unsafe and need help to scream. Not thinking about the situation that's what I did. I opened my mouth and made the smallest noise when Katie covered my mouth. Unfortunately they heard me. "They are here" the man said pulling a gun from his pocket.

Ardan(A)
We all looked at Morgan horrified. "Wtf were you thinking!?" I whisper yelled. "I don't know I thought someone could help us!" Morgan responded. "We are alone dumbass!" "We have to run" Adley whispered. We ran behind the banister trying to make it to the back door. A gunshot sounded and we all screamed. "We have to keep moving!" Adley yelled. "OVER HERE" a deep voice yelled. We all stumbled tk the back door which was about 20 feet away desperate you get out of here. But Morgan tripped. "Help!" She yelled. Her shirt was caught on the edge of a cabinate. She ripped it off leaving some fabric behind but kept moving. But that little delay made the men closer. They turned a corner and surrounded us with guns. I was shaking with fear but I had to be brave. We have to get out of here. "Katie make a portal!" I told her. She lifts her hands bit a gunshot sounds and she is screaming in pain. "KATIE" we all yell. "I'm fine" she insists. The bullet  went into her palm. Sh didn't look fine. "Grab them" a man said. He grabbed Adleys arm and she tried to run away and pulled out a long needle. She screamed kicking and hitting him but he injected the needle into her arm and she fell. "WHAT DID GOU DO TO HER" I screamed tears of rage stinging my eyes. "Stay put it I will shoot". A man said and they all lifted their guns. Morgan was silently crying as the same man who got Adley came up to Morgan. He pulled out a needle and she tried to bite his arm but he still poked her with the needle. She to fell to the ground. "You monster" I said as he came towards me. "Shit up little girl" he said and I felt the needle go into my arm. It was fast acting and I tried to fight it but it felt all warm and tingly. The last thing I saw was Katie's frightened face as she to went down. Then I fell asleep.
