Chapter 8

Adley

"Mom Dad!" I cried running towards them at full speed. "Adley!" My mom yelled hugging me. "I missed you guys so much." I had tears in my eyes I was almost crying. "Show me what you can do!" My father asked. "How did you know I got powers? I asked him confused. "Pepper told me but never mind that just show me!" He responded. "Okay!" I waved my hands around and my mom mounted the Pegasus they flew down on. "Impressive." My mom said getting off. "We have to train you more." I smiled so happy to see them again. "Is Dr. Strange and his wife coming to see Katie?" I asked. "Well Katie has his sling ring so he can't teleport fast might take him a bit." My dad responded. "How would you guys like to come in for something to eat?" Pepper called from the house. We walked in and saw bacon and eggs waiting on the table for us. We all sat down to eat, and Morgan came downstairs to see us. "You're Tony's daughter?" My Father asked her. "Yeah." Morgan responded. "Last time I saw you, you were running around with his helmet." my dad chuckled. Morgan just blushed. You could tell she wasn't comfortable with talking about her dad quite yet. "Looks like Strange is here!" Pepper said breaking the tension. Katie appeared in the living room suddenly. "Why are you using your powers we said you couldn't do that!" I yelled jokingly at her. She just ignored me and ran out. 

Katie

I ran outside and saw my dad standing there. I stared at him for a couple of seconds before we both started sprinting toward each other. I hugged him so tight I wish I never had to let go he grabbed my face and started smiling. "Wow you've gotten so big." he says eyes tearing up. I just start laughing out of joy. We let go and turn around. Right then my mom starts running to give me a hug we stood there in a group hug for a couple of minutes, until pepper interrupted. "Do you guys want something to eat" she asked and my parents both just shook their head as they walk inside. I can tell that Morgan pepper and Ardan feel uncomfortable, I mean they don't have a full family. I walk up to the girls as we all walk inside to get my parents something to eat.

Morgan

After that whole thing with Katie and her family, I went to my room and just sat on my bed staring at the ceiling. Lying there it occurred to me that me and mom are never going to be a normal family. My dad is never going to come back. I don't like it, but I guess one way or another I'm going to have to acknowledge that. I got up and walked over to my closet, grabbed a box and walked back over to my desk. I opened the box to find a whole bunch of pictures of me and my dad. I smile as I go through the box. I was so focused on the pictures I didn't even notice my mom walking in. "you two were inseparable" she says as I look up. "I remember this one time I let you in the garage to get what I thought was a toy and you came out wearing the helmet your dad made for me. And it was that moment I knew that you were going to grow up to be just like your dad. And I guess I was right." she says sitting down with me. I have something for you" mom says taking out a video tape. She puts it down and walks out. As\ soon as she leaves, I run over and put it in the DVD player. It's my dad. He made this beautiful goodbye message. Telling me how proud he is of me. And how he hopes I know that he what he did to save everyone, to save me. I do. "Oh, and one more thing, I love you 3000" he says, and it turns off. By that I'm in full on tears and I can feel the ground shake. I lift my hands and stand up and it stopes. I know that this is for the best. I just wanted to be like him.

Ardan

I need to find my mom. I know she is out there I know it. I have been spending all my time stretching my mind trying to see or even hear anything. I knew she was somewhere called Westview and I think there were more people. I decided to work up the courage and ask Pepper what happened while I was gone. "Pepper?" I asked. "Yes sweetie?" She spoke. I walked down the steps and into the living room where she was sitting. "What happened to my mom when I was gone?" I asked her. "Well, as you know your mom came back and fought against Thanos. She was at Tonys funeral, and no one saw her again after that." Pepper told me. "Shes alive I know it' I told her. "Sure" Pepper said smiling patting me on the back. I knew she didn't believe me, but I didn't care. I will find my mom.
