Chapter 7

Adley

"Okay try your best no presure" I told Ardan. "Umm there is a lot of pressure I don't really want to be here for the rest of my life" Morgan quipped. Ardan tensed as she lift her arms out in from of her concentrating so hard she was practically shaking. The turquoise energy surrounded her hands as she pushed it forward. It hit the wall and the wall began to crack and crumble. "Go Ardan!" Katie yelled as she walls burst open throwing us back in a pile of rubble. Outside we could s ee the sky and some dead looking grass. We struggled to stand up but when we finally did footsteps came running. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GIRLS DOING" Gary roared followed by Dr. Turner and a ton of soldiers. I looked at Katie and she nodded. Without skipping a beat raised my hands and with all my power this time I thought repeatedly Stay stay stay. A wall of yellow energy covered them. "Hurry Adley!" Morgan yelled. They were already outside waiting for me. I stopped concentrating and ran for the door. Gunshots rang out behind me, and I screamed. Then a purple bubble surrounded me as I ran, and I looked up to see Morgan using her forcefields. I managed to make it outside and Katie quickly made a portal. We all stumbled inside walking away from the pain. 

Katie

Where are we I wondered as we stumbled into a field. We all looked up at each other. I looked at Adley she had a scar on her chin not yet done bleeding. Ardan, she had a huge cut on her leg. Morgan, her face was all scratched up and bleeding. As for me I could taste the blood coming out of my mouth. "so, what should we do now?" Ardan asks "I have no idea." I answer and we all stand in science. That is until Morgan picked up grass and started rubbing it on her face and we all chuckled a little. "We need a game plan" Adley spoke up. But the thing is we don't even know. "oww" Morgan said covering her ears falling to the ground. "Are you ok" I said looking at her she clutched her head took a deep breath and stood up. "i know where we are" she said standing up. "Really where are we" Adley laughed with joy. "My dad used to take me here" Morgan stuttered "the flower garden" I remembered Morgan telling me about this. " Do you know how to get home' Ardan asked "Ya I think I do let's go" she started running and we chased after her

Morgan

We arrive at a plain lot. "I don't understand this was my house right here" I said my voice breaking. "Well maybe we can walk around, and someone can tell us what happened." Adley offered. I shook my head and we started walking. Each step was worse and worse my head was pounding, and I just knew something wasn't right. "there's someone over there maybe we can ask them if they can help us" Katie says. We all look at each other and slowly start to walk over. I'm shaking somethings happening. I look over at the lady and she pulls out a picture it's not a huge picture but big enough so that. It's my dad and me! Ardan saw it too "Morgan" she says looking at me. "mom" I whisper under my breath. I don't know how but she heard me and quickly stood up. Her eyes filled with tears and so did mine. "Morgan" she said running up to me. She gave me a big hug. Still hugging me she whispered. "I thought I lost you what happened" I took a deep breath. "So basically, we were at katies house then some creepy men showed up stole us brought us to some sort of secret layer conducted experiences on us by hydra luckily we escaped long story short now we have powers." I said and mom just smiled trying not to bawl her eyes out. "What happened" Adley asked, and moms smiled stopped. "Um well you remember the blip, well five years later all of the avengers who didn't blip got together to get the stones a during everyone back and they did" she said tears rolling down her eyes. "Well at least everyone is safe now." Katie said. Mom cried a little more and looked at her feet. Now I can really feel it something isn't right. "Mom where is dad" I said my eyes watering more. She wiped her eyes "you know how Thanos snapped to delete half the population well your dad snapped to bring everyone back" she started. "But Hes ok right" I ask, and she doesn't look at me. I know what that means. I can't believe it. "Where our parents" Ardan asked. "Adley and Katie your parents are fine but Ardan I'm not really sure where your mom went." Ardan started crying that was one of the first times I've seen her cry

later pepper showed us around and talked to us

She took me too their new lake house

"I miss him" I sigh

"Hes proud of you honey I mean you were kidnapped by hydra and escaped I'm so proud and with your powers I'm sure you'll be a great avenger just like your dad" she smiled and then Katie Adley and Ardan ran up to us.

Ardan

I got a guest room in Morgans beach house. I was honestly still in shock about what happened with my mom. She can't be dead My Mom doesn't just die. Pepper called Thor and Dr. Strange over so they could see their daughters after 2 years of not. They would arrive soon. But My mom couldn't come. I don't even know what she is doing out there she is so incredibly powerful it could literally be anything. I looked up in the sky and saw a Pegasus flying down undoughtfully Valkyrie and Thor. Dr Strange would come soon to and see Katie and I bet her mom would come as well. Maybe I could try and hear my mom's thoughts. Maybe she isn't that far away. I strained my mind hard enough trying to come up with a photo. I was zooming down a winding road. I'm going to make it I feel it. Then I hit a barrier. I caught one word in the picture before I lost it. The word "Westview."
