Chapter 6

Adley

We stood there frozen as Gary and Dr. Turner yelled at us. "Your broke those robots!" Dr. Turner exclaimed. "They were watching us!" Ardan yelled. "Were you talking about something you weren't supposed to?" Gary questioned. "No" Morgan said hesitating a bit. "You can't lie to us" Dr. Turner said looking at us fiercely. Then I had an idea. I could manipulate someone's mind without speaking now so pooled all my mental energy and thought Believe us believe us repeatedly. Soon it became too much, and I stopped. But amazingly they relaxed and said, "Okay we believe you." Katie, Ardan and Morgan looked a little surprised but also looked relieved. "Just go back to your room and we will train a bit more later" Gary said as we ran out of the room. Once we got back to the room Katie exclaimed "That was so weird" I sighed. "That was me I tried my best and I guess it worked." I replied. "Thank goodness you did I didn't want to see what would happen after that." Morgan sighed. "Ok but seriously now we can talk without being watched." Ardan said. "Are you sure?" I asked scanning the room. "It doesn't matter we just need to leave this place and see our families." Katie pointed out. "Yeah, ok we need a plan so let's make one." Morgan said.

Katie

"Ok, so I need my necklace and sling ring, but it's in the file room. Maybe, I was thinking, since I can go invisible, what if I go invisible and somehow make you guys too. But I don't know how long I can go invisible for. Doesn't matter I need my stuff, it's our only way of getting out of here." I said, I wasn't sure how long I could go, it's like holding my breath under water. "If Katie can make herself and someone else invisible, I could control people's minds." Adley suggests, I honestly think that's a good idea. "Oh! I could make a distraction too. Maybe there's a leaky pipe?" Morgan says, "Yes Morgan amazing but, what if they come in the room looking for us and we're not here?" I say, because you can be never too worried. "I'll somehow make it look on the security cams that we are still in the room?" Ardan says, not going to lie, I forgot Ardan was here but I'm glad she is. "Ok, now all we have to do is train." I say and all the girls nod in agreement.  

Morgan

Katie reached her hand out and touched Adley. Katie went invisible and so did Adley. 'wow' Ardan said. "you got this Katie try and hold it as long as you can" I say taking my phone out to time her. Three minutes pass and they both come back. "three minutes!" Ardan says "great that should be enough time for us to get in and get out" Katie says. "wait Morgan can I see your phone" Ardan asks, and I hand it to her "why do you have the security cameras connected to your phone" Adley asks confused. "come on do you guys really think that I let those creepy middle age men watch us 24/7. Of course not. Look right now they think we are sleeping." I exclaim showing them the fake video. "wow ok great so what's the plan" Adley asks. "you and Katie are going to go to the file room and get her necklace back, Morgan and I will run across the hall. I'll make a loud noise and Morgan will make the pipe burst, then Garry and dr turner will have to come fix it" Ardan says having it all planned out. "ok are you guys ready" Adley asks. Me Katie an Ardan look around. "as ready as we'll ever be" we all say at the same time.

Ardan

Katie and Adley run out of the room invisible to go retrieve the necklace and Morgan breathes slowly. She closes her eyes searching for a pipe to burst. She opens her eyes quickly finding one and stands in the doorway. "Come on" She whispers, and we run out. I lift my hands and my turquoise energy surrounds it as I make a pot fall loudly in the kitchen. Morgan nods then raises her hands in front of her face and a loud noise sounds in the distance. "Okay they will be far from here now." I smile. Suddenly Katie and Adley pop up beside us. I stifle a scream. They are dripping wet from head to toe. "You really had to burst a pipe in the hallway we were running in?" Adley says. "Sorry Guys" Morgan whisper making a breeze come through drying them off. "You got the sling ring?" I ask. "Yeah" Katie smiles holding it up. "Okay let's find a way to get out of here" Adley says. "Have you guys ever seen a door here?" I ask. "No, I can make a portal to someplace out of here." Katie says. "Great!" I speak. She tries to make a portal but fails. "What I don't understand!" Katie says desperately. "They must have tweaked the damn thing." Morgan says. "Ok well what else can we do." Adley says Then her face lights up as she turns to me. "What" I say cautiously. "Are you strong enough to break a wall?" she asks. "Adly that's so loud! People will come running!" I exclaim. "Not if I use my powers. And assuming Katie can make portals outside of the premises we should be fine" Adly says narrating her plan. "This is something to brag about as school." Morgan says as we all silently laugh. "Okay lets finally get out of here." I say.
