"Hi Mi," Alex whispered.
"Hi Star," he whispered back.

Alex kissed Miles' nose, giggling, it was one of those mornings he wished could last forever.

"You're more lively than usual, usually you lay on me for another hour or two until I beg for you to get off and let me use the toilet"
"Well I like cuddlin' and all, but I just wanna lay here face to face with you today"
"Well that's sweet, but I'm getting the feeling you wanted to talk to me about something?"
"Possibly"
"Well if you're unsure I don't think that-"
"It's not that Mi, it's just that I don't think I'll ever be ready. But that's a part of it isn't it? You just have to spit it out.."
"Not if you don't want to"
"But I want to, I just don't know how I would even say it, or what would happen.."
"You don't have to tell me right now..how about I make us some tea and breakfast instead?"

He felt like he was dragging it on, but what was he to do? This was his favourite person ever, this meant he knew Miles wouldn't be upset with him for it, he'd just let him down in the nicest way possible if he didn't feel the same, which made him more nervous.

So of course he decided to call Matt for help.

"What do I think? Alex, what are you doing? Think about what you want, I love you, I really do, but you need to start making decisions on your own, now what do you want?"
"I..I want to be with him, I want to wake up next to him every morning..and I want him to kiss my forehead, run his fingers through my hair.."
"And you're scared he'll reject you?"
"Yes.."
"Even if he does you'll still have him as a friend"
"But what if-"
"Alex! Breakfast is ready"
"Matt I've got to go, I'll get back to you later"
"Don't call me unless it's to tell me you told him and you're getting married next week"
"Wh-"
"Go eat your breakfast, it's getting cold"
