Chapter Thirty One

Eureka's POV

"Pull up here, please." Enrico Hale says softly and I do as I'm told, parking his gorgeous car perfectly in the empty lot. "Let's go."

Sabay kaming pumanaog. His hand grabbing mine, I try not to mind the sparks I am feeling and the delicious knot in my stomach of that one simple touch.

"Where are we going?" bulong ko.

"Eureka, why are you whispering?" natatawa niyang tanong habang binubuksan ang pinto. It looks like a back door, with only a tiny lamp illuminating it, at katabi nito ay mga malalaking  garbage bins.

"Because I feel like we're breaking in." I mutter in breathless whisper. "Bakit hindi na lang tayo sa entrance pumasok like civilized human beings, Enrico Hale?"

I hear the door jamb click, and I see him wink at me. "Where's the fun in that? Come here."

As soon as the door opened, we were both greeted by the fresh December air and the faint smell of citronella. I look to my side and saw that the place had tiny cabins or little villas, or at least I think they were. There are trees, yellow lamps and cobblestones everywhere.

"Enrico, where are we?"

"Sssh," he says, "Look!" I looked to the direction he was pointing, and I saw two yachts and small boats bobbing in the water. It's a marina! "You ready for a night swim?" he asks as he discards his clothes one by one.

"Enrico Hale!" I gushed, giggling. He stands before me half naked, and before I could even say anything, I hear the loud splash of water and his loud 'Whoo!' "Baliw!"

He emerges from the water, his face giddy with excitement. "Eureka, come here!"

Still laughing, I shake my head. "Ayoko!"

"Not fair! If you don't get over here right now, I'm gonna drag your sexy ass here in the water."

I stuck my tongue out at him playfully. "Manigas ka!"

"Fine," he swims up to grab my leg from the dock and I yelp.

"Enrico Hale!"

"Don't make me do it the hard way, Eureka."

"Fine! Fine!" I yell in resignation as I take off my shoes, let my hair down, and start unzipping my dress.

"Go Eureka! Go Eureka! Go! Go! Go Eureka!" he claps his hands while cheering, and I can't help but laugh.

"Tumalikod ka nga muna!" sabi ko.

"What?!"

"Tumalikod ka na kasi!"

"No way! I enjoy watching you undress."

"You are such a pig, Enrico Hale. I said turn around!"

"No!"

"Enrico!"

"Fine... I'm just gonna cover my eyes." tinakpan niya naman ang kanyang mukha gamit ang kanyang mga kamay pero nakasilip pa rin siya.

"Enrico Hale, stop acting like a petulant child!" I demanded. The truth is, I am not wearing any brassiere under my dress. But fuck this!

"No, you are acting like a child. Just jump! You are such a wuss! Duwag. A cowar---"

I slipped the dress off of my body and jumped without warning. "Oh my god!!! Oh my god! Oh my god! It's so fucking cold!"

When I spun around, I met Enrico Hale's eyes as he swims closer to me. "It's gonna get better once you're used to it."
