Chapter Four

Eureka's POV

Sitting by the window at a cafe, Ashton and I are meeting for a lunch date. While waiting for him, I saw a bookstore and found a gossip magazine with an issue with none other than Enrico on the cover. I opened the spread and saw the article saying:

Young Bachelor of the Buenaventura Clan Unleashes Bad Side

I smirked. Tingnan mo nga naman. Mayaman pala talaga ang ugok na 'to.

I gripped the glossy magazine tighter and stared at the photo of him. He's smiling his sexy smirk, his hands on the strap of his watch. Nakatitig sa akin ang mapupungay niyang mata. He is finely dressed in a black suit and a matching black suede tie; his hair a rackish mess but a sexy work of art.

I took a sip of my drink. Ah, mocha. Never fails to elevate my mood. Nakaka-alis ng stress.

I hastily scanned the pages of the magazine and saw Enrico's face.

This time, nakangiti siya sa picture. Suot niya ay dark blue na pantalon, brown leather shoes at itim na sweatshirt. A frozen laughter in the photo, candidly captured. I wonder what was he laughing about. Did the crew on that studio told him about a funny joke? Or is this just fake like how models often do?

Enrico Hale Czarino Buenaventura, but fondly called Enrico Buenaventura by many, came from a prominent clan of businessmen, the Buenaventura's. His father owns the Sylvan Holdings and Company and Yonder Real Estates that reached out to give homes in the country and some parts in Southeast Asia for over three generations now. His mom is a pioneer of fine customs in dining that served Filipinos and abroad, by land or by seas.

Enrico Hale, sooner, will also take hold of his parents' business and is expected to continue their legacy for being the second to the brood of three. At the age of twenty four, he was already pronounced as one of the successful young bachelors in the country, being that he was awarded to be one of the few budding young entrepreneurs in the Philippines. He graduated at the WestFord Institutional College taking up Agriculture and Economics and was an intern at Google's USA portal. He isn't just a braniac, but he also enjoys playing tennis and played well at the Sea Games.

Quite impressive, huh?

But he is not what the society expected him to be. He is not aloof to people, in fact he is much seen everywhere, especially in night clubs. Not just in business conventions and innovative meetings.

I flicked into another page and then tumambad sa akin ang isang blurry photo. I read the caption:

Enrico spotted in Neons last year, wanking in public, drunk and wasted

I stared at the picture. Naka-blur ang kanyang lower regions. Even the photo was in bad quality, but it's clear to see that it's him.

Enrico Hale Buenaventura isn't just successful in his own ways, but also in the hearts of women. Given that he is blessed by a gorgeous face, this young Buenaventura is a total, down to earth charmer who insists on seeing the goodness of everybody.

But even to his good intentions, some women have admitted to have dated the lad but unfortunately reported that he can't stay consistent and seem to like swinging from one girl to another.

I closed the magazine and sipped my sweet treat, smirking. That's all I needed to know. Typical rich business tycoon blessed by a pretty face who goes around collecting girls and breaking hearts.

"What are you smiling at and what are you reading?"

I did not notice Ashton arriving. I immediately closed the gossip magazine and shoved it inside my bag. "Nothing. Just reading some umm, business magazines."
