Cuts and Scrapes ~ Todoroki Shoto x Reader

~ SIX | 6 ~

    I woke up late the next day. I groaned and walked to the kitchen, seeing a note on the island I walked over and grabbed it.

    Good morning. You don't have to come to school today because of what happened yesterday, in fact you get the rest of the week off. I hope it's okay for me to come back after school, if not just text me. ***-***-****. See you later Y/N.

    I smiled and threw the note in the trash before getting myself a bowl of cereal, I was pretty out of food. But, if I have the whole week off then I have time to get stuff done. I sat down and turned on the TV, flipping through the channels before I found one about the class.

    I stopped and turned my attention to the TV, apparently they had all been attacked by a group of villains. I ran to my room and grabbed my phone, quickly typing in Todoroki's number and calling him.

"So it's not okay to come back?" he said as he answered

"No that's fine. I was calling to make sure you were okay, I saw on the news what happened"

"Oh yeah, everyone's fine except Midoriya who broke his bones"

"Oh okay, well it's a relief to hear that mostly everyone is okay"

"Anyway, we were all dismissed so I'll be there in like 2 seconds"

"Oh and we get tomorrow off" he said through the phone as he walked through the door

"Okay" I said, still into the phone before hanging it up and walking over to him

    I engulfed him in a hug.

"I know we haven't known each other long, but I'm glad that you're okay"

"Thanks" he said, awkwardly returning the hug

"Today was a long day, I'm going to take a nap" he said before walking away and up the stairs

"Okay" I said, waving him off

    It had been 5 hours since he said he was going for a nap, it was late now and I was beginning to think that he might just sleep through the night. But in case he did wake up, I had made him food and tea before walking into the guest room and putting it down on the bedside table.

    I noticed that he was sweaty and seemed to be fidgeting a lot. I softly shook him to wake him up, deciding that food and stuff was a good enough reason to wake him up especially if something else was going on.

"Hey, Todoroki"

"What"

"I brought you food, and you looked like something was wrong so I decided it might be best to wake you; sorry"

"No, thank you"

    I looked up towards him to see him grabbed the bowl of now probably cold soba. He ate in silence, I stayed because I needed to take the dishes down when he was done with them. Once he was done, I grabbed them all and headed towards the door.

"Hey Y/N?"

"Yeah?"

"Can the dishes wait?"

"For what?"

"Nevermind"

"No what"

"Put the dishes down and come here"

    I did just that, I put the dishes down on the desk that was in the room and stood there confused.

"Come here" he said looking down

    I walked over to him before he grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the bed.

"Woah!"

"Sorry"

"Oh no it's fine, I just wasn't expecting that"

"Can you stay, if not that's totally fine too. Just with everything that happened today I think that I'd feel more at ease with you around right now"

"yeah, of course" 

    I got comfortable in the bed as Todoroki tried to fall asleep. Eventually I heard him hum and my eyes went in his direction, he was asleep but his whole body was turning to face me. This was the first time I was able to get a good look at his face. His features were soft and calm, but there was something about his expression that made it look like he was hurting.

    I sighed and closed my eyes, trying to fall asleep. Before long, I felt an arm wrap around my waist and pull me into his body. I smiled to myself before snuggling up into his chest. Before I knew it, I fell into a deep, comforting sleep.
