Cuts and Scrapes ~ Todoroki Shoto x Reader

~ TWELVE | 12 ~

    I jumped up the next morning to the sound of Mina yelling at me.

"Y/N! YOU SLEPT IN PAST YOUR ALARM" she yelled, showing me my phone screen to show me that my alarm was still going

"SHIT" I said and quickly got at least presentable

    Soon, I joined the class outside. Everyone had already started training as per Aizawa's instruction so I took my place where I was yesterday and began training although my wings were super sore.

    The training had finally come to an end. We regrouped with everyone at the camp where one of the Wild Wild Pussycats explained that we'd have a test of courage tonight. We all waited anxiously for the time to come.

    Pixie-Bob and Ragdoll explained to us what was going to happen. We were going to be walking through the forest and being scared by class 1-B. We were all partnered up, I was with Yao-momo.

"Hey Y/N, switch with me" Mineta said pointing to his partner

"uhhh.. no thanks I think I'll stick with her" I said clinging on to her

"Thank you" she whispered in my ear with a smile which I gladly returned

     We started to be sent off into the forest after a few groups had gone in ahead of us. We were getting scared left and right by students before the scaring suddenly stopped.

"Is it over?" I asked

"Maybe" she shrugged as we continued walking

    Soon, we walked into a visible gas and started to panic.

"Is this part of it?"

"I'm not sure" 

"Hey, I'm getting dizzy" I said, stumbling to stand up straight

"Y/-"

    Everything went black.

    I woke up, a few people around us. I had a gas mask on and was being carried by someone. We were running fast, away from what looked to be a nomu.

"What's going on?" I asked

"Y/N! YOU'RE AWAKE. WE'RE UNDER ATTACK BY VILLAIN!" she tried to explain

    I hopped out of the persons arms and stood in front of the nomu staring at me, before it let's out an ear piercing scream. I quickly covered my ears as the nomu took it's arm and hit me away from the others. 

    My back slammed against a tree and I started coughing, a little bit of blood coming with it. I stood up, and faced the nomu again who was starting to go after the others.

"COME GET ME YOU BIRD BRAINED FREAK!" I yelled at it and it looked my way before charging at me, this time I was prepared

    I flew up above him as he gripped the tree and crushed it in his hand.

"Holy shit"

    I hardened my wings and let them pierce into his back, to which he screamed at me and tried to reach me. I twisted my body so the metal would twist inside of him, he continued to scream at me before falling on his back and crushing me.

    He got back up and went to grab my legs, I put my wings in front of me; protecting me a bit. I hardened them and pierced his fist. This only made him angrier. He ignored my attempts to cut through him again and grabbed my wings, which slit his hand.

    He ignored it and started yanking on them, I screamed out in pain and tried to get of his grip. He grabbed my legs and before I could attack back he slammed my body into the ground with enough force to make a hole in the dirt.

    I was dizzy for a moment before weakly standing back up. He roared at me before preparing a punch. I got ready for the impact, but he just stopped and started walking away. Yao-momo attached a tracker to the thing as it ran off and it payed no mind to the new device. 

"We have to get out of here" Yao-momo said, trying to help the few people we had with us

"Yeah" I said and we started slowly moving back to the camp.
