Cuts and Scrapes ~ Todoroki Shoto x Reader

~ THIRTEEN | 13 ~

     I woke up in a hospital bed, with Keigo and recovery girl talking beside me.

"DAD!" I cried out

"Hey kid, how are you feeling?" he asked as he pulled me in for a hug

"I'm doing great! Thanks recovery girl!" 

"You should be good to go at some point today" she said and left the room

"Well how was it?"

"You should've seen me! I stood up against one of the nomus! I mean I got pretty beat up but I did damage it!" 

"Heh, good job"

"Why do you look so sad?"

"Sorry, I'm just glad you're alright"

"Is everyone else okay"

"Well, mostly everyone's fine. Finger destroyer kid was broken and Bakugou was kidnapped"

"Wait wait, Bakugou was kidnapped??"

"Yeah, we're starting a search soon; only for the heroes so don't try to get involved" he said, pointing at me in the last part

"No promises" I smiled

    Soon the nurse came in a saw that I was up and moving and told me that I could leave soon. I thanked her and she left. Soon, I went back home to be met with a strong, bone-crushing hug.

"WOAH!" I yelled out surprised

"I'm glad you're alright" 

    I heard his voice and relaxed.

"I'm glad you're okay too, Todoroki" I smiled at him

"Okay well, I have to get back to work but I'll come visit soon" Kiego said from the door and turned around to leave before I hugged him

"Thanks Dad" I smiled and he gave me a reassuring nod before flying off

    We spent the entire day together, mostly in comfortable silence.

"Hey um, do you think I could start spending nights again?" he asked out of nowhere

"Did your dad kick you out again?"

"No, I just want to stay here I think" he looked down and softly smiled

"I told you the room is always open didn't I?"

    He gave me a soft smile before turning back toward the television. I smiled to myself, even after all that had happened; I felt happy. 

    The night had went by pretty smoothly and I went to bed without a problem. In the afternoon of the day after, we decided to join the class and visit Midoriya. When we got there, we saw the whole class already in the room and surrounding the injured boy.

    Soon, Kirishima started taking about Bakugou. He went on about rescuing him and the whole class tried to warn him of what could happen if they decided to go through with it, though I thought it was an alright idea. We may not know exactly who or what we're dealing with but he had this pretty thought out.

    I overheard Midoriya and Kirishima's conversation after the class had left and found their meeting point, I decided to go with them. Once it was time, Todoroki and I went to the hospital and met up with the few people that were there. There was Midoriya, Kirishima, Yao-momo and it looked like Iida was walking over from a distance. 

"You guys made it. Thanks for coming" Kirishima gave us a weak smile

"Yeah" I smiled back

    After a few minutes, we all went off. It took a little bit of convincing to get Iida to come with but after he punched Midoriya in the face he was pretty much okay with it. We had to agree to let him stop us if we got ahead of ourselves but as a team, we all went to rescue Bakugou.
