"Now remember, now remember to use your senses, and feel where your partner is." Danial told us from the side. Robby and I were standing back on the deck, soaked in cold water. Sam stood in the water on the edge because now that she was used to it, it was warmer in the water than out.
"You guys got this!" Sam cheered us on.
We brought our hands up than back to our sides, than back up again, starting the wheel. We got through the first part without stumbling once. When it came time to punch then block o both sides, we did it smoothly. "You ready?" Robby asked me. His hair was pushed back by the water and his clothing was sticking to his body.
"Yeah, one."
"Two."
"Three." We said together, starting our first move and going opposite directions. I moved onto the kick and continued to do the movements with precision. "Hey, hey, hey. Slow down." Robby called from behind me.
"Sorry." I called back.
"Thanks." He responded. I continued to do the movements at a slower pace than before, and when I got to a part where Robby and I had to be in perfect sync, I turned to look at him. He was finishing the move he was on and he looked at me and nodded. We both turned our bodies to face one another, pushing our hands outward and back to our sides. I took a step to the side, moving onto the next move, when I stepped to much on the ledge and fell off, causing Robby to fall on top of me underneath the water. He pushed up and off me, only he stepped on my stomach, pushing me further down into the ground.
When he realized what he had done, he quickly took his foot off my abdomen and stuck his hand down and grabbed my arm pulling me out of the water. "You Okay?" Robby asked in a worried tone.
"I'm fine." I replied harshly, I waded through the water to my side.
"Don't worry, guys, your making progress." Danial told us.

We were back on the board, going through the proper motions, this time with confidence and precision.
When we turned around to face each other again, I took a deep breath to calm myself. I took a step, kicking in front of me and placing my foot back on the deck. Turning myself around again towards Robby. We had done the wheel without falling. I let my arms drop to the side and looked at Danial. He had a smile on his face. "Again." My smile dropped as I got back into position to start.

When we finished for the second time, Mr. LaRusso had us bow to each other then to him. I turned my head towards Robby to see him holding out his fist. I leaned over and connected our knuckles in a fist bump before I jumped off the deck and climbed out of the water. "I'm going to go dry off." I announced before slipping on my shoes and walking away briskly.
I made my way into the dojo and pulled out a cream oversized hoodie out of my duffle bag. I peeled off my sticky shirt and threw it to the ground, leaving me in my shorts and sports bra. I pulled the hoodie over my head and stuck my arms threw the armholes. The hoodie was warm, making me return to my sleepy state.
I grabbed my wet shirt off the ground and walked out to the car lot. I wrung out my shirt by the fence, letting the water drip onto the weeds and gravel.

About an hour later, I walked back into the dojo. I had been stretching in the car lot, trying to shake my sleepy nature. "Today was awesome!" I heard Sam say as I opened the door a smidge. Deciding to eavesdrop, I hung out by the door and listened.
"Yeah, I think we've finally got it." Robby replied, I could hear the smile in his voice. I tried to make my breathing as quiet as I possibly could so they wouldn't hear me.
"Hey, do you need a ride?" Sam asked him politely, seriously, you just broke up with Miguel I thought to myself.
"Uh, no." Robby said softly. "Look, I'm sorry about earlier. I'm just, dealing with some stuff from home." He explained. "My mom took off, I guess she missed some bills. But I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked hopefully.
"Yeah sure."
"Cool." Robby answered before I heard him start to walk towards the door I was currently hiding behind. I quickly and quietly decided to run outside the gate. When I made it, I slowed my pace to a walk. I reached my car, walking to the passenger's side and slung my bag onto the seat. I shut the door and made my way over to the driver's side. As soon as I opened the door, Robby walked out the gate.
"You were going to leave without saying goodbye?" Robby joked.
"Yes." I answered, not in the mood to talk, now pissed at Sam.
The look on his face told me he was taken aback with my words. I started to climb inside when Robby quickly walked over to my car. "Somethings wrong, what is it?"
"Nothing's wrong Robby, I told you this morning." I sighed, standing on the ledge of my jeep.
"I know when's somethings wrong, you can tell me." He pushed.
"Oh my god!" I paused, letting the anger wash over me. "Your not my boyfriend, so back off!" I lashed at him. He took a step back is surprise, I stood there for a second, letting the words sink in, before getting into my truck and backing up without looking at Robby.
Okay, major drama at the end there! How do you guys feel about that? Let me know in the comments! I just want to say thank you guys for all the love on my Tidal wave story, you guys are the best.
I never expected it to do good, or anyone to even like it. To be honest, my friend fanfics_by_moi is the reason I'm even writing this story. I had an idea and she told me to write about and she introduced me to Cobra Kai! So thank you buddy, none of this would've happened if you hadn't convinced me to write!! And to my other amazing supportive friend, book_fanfics05 thank you for introducing me to writing in the first place.
Thanks
