Chapter 8 ~ I know what you are

~ Melisa's POV ~

"Oh, yeah now I see it" Dylan said looking shocked and angry at the same time.

"Thats why Justin's eyes turned red" I gasped after I said that and thought about the two times Justin's eyes turned red.

"And you didn't tell me?!" Dylan said looking angry at me.

"I'm sorry...I thought I saw it wrong" I said in a whisper looking down.

"Hey..i'm sorry babe" Dylan apologized while hugging me and gave me a peck on the lips.

I smiled up at him and he smiled back.
I saw Dylan looking over the huge rock where we were hiding behind to look at the three jerks.

I turned my head to look at them too, they were looking all over the place for something.

"Shit" I heard Dylan say as he grabbed me and was holding me close to his body, hugging me really tight.

"What are you doing?" I whisper/yelled and him.

"They can smell your scent but if I hold you this close to me they will smell nothing" he said while looking at them.

"Oh okay" I said and I tried to look at them too.

Their noses were in the air trying to find me by my scent but after awhile they stopped and looked at each other and started talking.

I felt uncomfortable sitting like this but I needed to sit still.

"Babe they're shifting" I heard Dylan whisper.

I looked at them, they were werewolves again and they sprinted away.

"Can I sit normal now?" I asked and he shushed me.

Ughhh.

Justin, Ryan and Cameron were nowhere to be seen.

"Okay..NOW you can sit normal again" Dylan said unwrapping his arms from my body.

Finally !! I thought.

"Okay we should get home now" Dylan said and I nodded.

I tried to stand up but instead I winced in pain, my leg hurts so bad and I don't know why.

Dylan saw that I was in pain and grabbed me bridal style and he sprinted off.

I couldn't get Melisa out of my mind, she changed so much and she got so confident. And she got a boyfriend... Ughh.

I'm not jealous, I hate her.

'No you're jealous'

I heard a voice say in my head. I just ignored it.

"Hey Justin did you hear anything that we said?" I heard Ryan say and I shook my head 'no'.

"So we were talking about finding Melisa and trying to talk with her" Ryan said, I think thats a good idea.

"And if we can smell her scent we can easily find her" Cam said and I nodded.

"So do you guys have anything with her scent on it?" Ryan asked and I thought of things.

"Wait she did our homework a couple of days ago maybe her scent is on that and maybe it can work!" I said and grabbed my backpack to see the homework that she made for us.

We all sniffed at the piece of paper and opened the front door and sprinted off in werewolf style following her scent.

After three minutes we followed the scent into the woods to an open space in the middle.
