Chapter 41 ~ Don't Be Gone Too Long

~ Melisa's POV ~ 

I opened my eyes and tried standing up but I couldn't.

I saw that I was chained to my bed, what the fuck.

Kyle came into my room before I could mind link him, "Good morning." He fished a key out of his jean pocket and freed me from the chains.

"Thanks?" It sounded like a question.

"You're probably wondering why you were chained up to your bed?" Kyle said and sat down next to me as I sat up as well.

I nodded.

"Well, it was full moon last night and we chained you up in the basement and locked it down, but you broke out, what is pretty impressive because we used the best chains we have. But you broke down three steel doors and ran into the forest. We followed you and you stopped out of nowhere, so we injected you with wolfsbane when you didn't see it, and now you're here."  He explained to me.

"Wait, I broke through three steel doors?" I said and gulped, I didn't know my wolf could do that. I hope the Alpha Council won't lock me up for this.

"Yes you did, don't worry we'll get it fixed." He said and stood up. 

"Ready for training?" 

I stood up as well and nodded. 

"Let's beat some vampires up!" I said and threw my fist in the air.

"I heard that." Damon said and stood by the door. 

"I know." I said and pinched his cheek. I walked down the stairs and greeted Dawn, I was ready for the training.

~Justin's POV~

I walked to the house on my own as the others wanted to go to Starbucks. I was walking as I thought of last night, the full moon.

I know she was there, I smelled her scent. 

My wolf was taking me to her, and hers was taking her to me.

But her scent was gone right away, making my wolf turn back around.

It has been a couple of days but I miss her so much. I can't focus on anything but the thought of her.

I opened the front door and walked in the living room seeing the others with their coffee, "That was fast." I said and took my jacket off.

"We ran, after drinking the half of our coffee of course." Dylan said taking a sip from what was left of his coffee.

I nodded and wanted to walk up stairs until I heard the door bell and I stopped, "I'll go." Ryan said and opened the door.

"Justin!" Jazmyn ran up to me and in my arms as the door opened. 

"Hi Jazzy." I said and hugged her. 

I broke away from her to hug my parents and Jaxon.

"Is Melisa upstairs? I don't see her here." Jazmyn said as she looked around. 

"They wanted to see you and play with you and Melisa." My mom said as she placed her purse on the couch and greeted everyone.

"Where is she?" She asked me and I look down.

Why does everyone keep asking me this?

I saw Ryan shake his head while looking at my mom in the corner of my eye.
