Alexa's Pov I walk into Asher's house with him when I see his Dad in a suit and tie for the booster party in less than 2 hours.
"Hi Mr Adams you look good." I say.
"Yeah Dad you look nice." Asher says.
"Thanks kids, Asher your suits on the kitchen table. You'll need to iron it before you wear it." he says.
"I can do that if you want Asher. You can go get a shower and get ready whilst I do it. It's no trouble." I offer.
"That would be great Alexa, thank you." his Dad says.
"Yeah thanks Lex." Asher says walking off upstairs.
I go into the kitchen and talk to his Dad whilst I iron his clothes.
"Hey I just wanted to say thank you Alexa." he says to me.
"For what Mr Adams?" I ask.
"Since his mom walked out on us I haven't seen Asher so happy. He's happier now that he has a friend who he's so open too. I just want to say thank you for being here for Asher, I know that I'm not in town a lot so I'm glad Asher has you here with him." he says.
"It's fine Mr Adams. I'm always gonna be here for Asher either way. Asher deserves to be happy." I say and I see Asher enter the kitchen out of the corner of my eye.
"Hey I'm done in the shower if you want to have a shower before the boosters event." Asher says.
"Oh it's fine I'll have one whilst you two are at the boosters event." I say.
"But then It'll be too late." Asher says.
"For what?" I ask Asher.
"Come with me Alexa." Mr Adams says walking me upstairs and into my room. I walk in and see a dress and heels on the bed.
"It'll be too late for you to get dressed to go to the boosters event." he says.
"I can't take this dress Mr Adams it's too delicate." I say holding it up in front of me.
"Please Alexa just take it. I'd love you to come tonight and I know Asher would love you to come too." he asks.
"If your sure." I say placing it back down on the bed.
"Couldn't be more sure." he says giving me a hug before leaving the room.
I look at the time and see I have 35 minutes before we have to leave. I hope in the shower and spend 15 minutes in there before I get out and dry my hair. I put on the dress and heels.
