Alexa's Pov
We pull up outside the Baker's house and we get out of the car. We walk up the driveway and knock on the door.

"Hi Asher. Hey Lexi." Mrs Baker says opening the door and letting us inside.

"Hi." Asher and I say at the same time.

"Do you want me to put that on the table." she asks gesturing to my package.

"If you don't mind." I ask as she takes the box.

"Welcome to the party!" JJ says walking up to us and hugging us both.

"For the last time JJ. It's not a party." Mrs Baker says laughing at him.

"It is a party." JJ whispers to us as we walk into the backyard.

I see Jordan setting up jenga with Layla when he sees me and Asher with JJ.

"Hey come play." Jordan calls.

We walk over to him and he pulls me into a quick kiss.

"Hey babe." he says.

"Hi." I say back before hugging Layla.

"Hey Lexi." she says.

"Hey how've you been?" she asks.

"I'm doing great how are you?" I ask.

"I'm good." she says.

We start playing the game and the guys start talking about the party.

"So your Dad's back?" JJ asks.

"Yeah he came back two days ago." Asher says taking a block out.

"What did he say about the car." Jordan says.

"What car?" someone asks.

JJ starts explaining the story and Asher looks at me uncomfortably.

"And Asher was all. Noooo. Please noo." JJ says mocking him.

"Alright you are exaggerating a bit." Asher says taking his turn.

"It was crazy. The car just kept rolling out into the middle of the street." JJ continues.

"That's because you forgot to put the parking break on." Layla says looking at JJ.

"That doesn't matter. Why are we even talking about this, it's fixed. Move on." Asher says.

"Where'd you take it?" JJ asks.

"I know a guy." Asher says causing me and Layla to roll our eyes.

"You know a guy who can fix a 1959 Porsche Roadster in one day?" JJ asks.

"I don't see it." Jordan says.

"One day dude?"

"Hey. Money talks boys." Asher starts talking but I don't want to listen anymore.

"I'm gonna see Spencer." I say to Jordan before walking away from the conversation avoiding eye contact with Asher.

"Lexi!" Spencer says giving me a hug.

"How's my favourite cousin." I say hugging him back.

"Oop I'm telling Dillon. Also I'm fine."

"Come with me." I say grabbing his arm and walking him into the house. I grab the package off of the table and give it to him.

"Happy birthday. Open it up." I say.

He opens up the package and sees the shoes.

"Aww I wanted these thanks Lexi." he says giving me another hug.
