After school, Lucas and Dustin went to Mike's house to interrogate Mike about his plan and why he didn't show up at school. Although, both of them had a nasty shock when their plans changed to interrogating Mike about why the girls were still there.

Lucas shut Mike's door with his jaw slightly dropped at the sight of the two girls sitting across from him. "Are you out of your mind?" Lucas asked, getting over his initial shock.

"Just listen to me." Mike tried to calm him down before he scared the two girls.

"You are out of your mind!" Lucas snapped.

"She knows about Will." Mike pointed at Eleven, making her look between the boys.

"What do you mean she knows about Will?" Dustin asked wide eyed.

Mike reached over to the picture El pointed at and held it up for the two boys to see. "She pointed at him," He explained, "at his picture. She knew he was missing. I could tell."

"You could tell?" Lucas asked skeptically.

"Just think about it." Mike tried to get him to understand. "Do you really think it was a coincidence that we found them on Mirkwood, the same place where Will disappeared?"

"That is weird." Dustin agreed looking at Lucas for his opinion.

"And they said that bad people are after them." Mike continued making Dustin and Lucas look at each other. "I think these bad people are the same ones that took Will. I think they know what happened to him."

"Then why don't they tell us?" Lucas asked settling his eyes on the girls, more specifically, El. He walked to her with angry present on his face. Nikki felt herself shrink back as El put her arm over her to protect her. "Do you know where he is?" Lucas raised his voice. "Do you know where Will is?" He asked louder, grabbing El by the shoulders and making Nikki jump at everything happening at once.

"Stop it, you're scaring them!" Mike said noticing Nikki squeak from the jumped and El being close to tears.

"They should be scared!" Lucas argued. He turned back to the girls but this time focusing on Nikki. "If you know where he is, tell us!"

Nikki tried to answer but just found her jaw opening and closing with no words coming out. Lucas, seeing that the girl was visibly shaking, back off and decided to leave her alone.

He looked back at Mike and shook his head. "This is nuts. We have to take them to your mom."

"No!" Mike contradicted. "Eleven and Nine said telling any adult would put us in danger."

"What kind of danger?" Dustin asked warily.

"Their names are Eleven and Nine?" Lucas asked with a scrunched up face.

"Nikki and El for short." Mike said pointing at the girls, so they know who is who.

"Mike, what kind of danger?" Dustin repeated louder.

"Danger danger." Mike stated. The room went quiet as Mike start to do finger guns just like Nikki did. Dustin pointed it at a nervous looking Dustin and then moved on to Lucas who slapped his arm down.

"No, no, no!" Lucas repeated shaking his head angrily. "We're going back to plan A. We're telling your mom."

Lucas pushed past Mike and Dustin to get to the door. As fast as he opened it, it slammed itself shut making some toys scattered around the room rumble from the impact. Confused, Lucas tried again and the same thing happened. They watched as the door locked itself and they turned around. All of their eyes widened at seeing El standing up with a serious look on her face and blood coming out of her nose. Nikki stood a foot behind her, not shocked to the very least, but with almost a blank expression and her eyebrows slightly furrowed.

"No." El said sternly.

"Something wrong with the meatloaf?" Karen asked looking at the three boys who did nothing but play with their food.

"Oh, no, I had two bologna sandwiches for lunch." Dustin smiled innocently before trying to think of a reason. "I don't know why."

"Me, too." Lucas smiled at Karen.

"It's delicious, Mommy." Nancy said sweetly.

"Thank you, sweetie." Karen said pleased someone was eating the food.

"So, there's this special assembly thing tonight," Nancy spoke, carefully in choosing out her phrasing, "for Will at the school field. Barb's driving."

"Why am I just hearing about this?" Karen asked with her eyebrows scrunching together.

"I thought you knew." Nancy shrugged innocently.

"I told you," Karen responded, "I don't want you out after dark until Will is found."

"I know, I know," Nancy nodded, "but it'd be super weird if I'm not there. I mean, everyone's going."

Karen sighed, thinking for a few seconds. "Just, be back by 10. Why don't you take the boys, too?"

Her idea, however, was quickly shut down by the boys protesting against it.

"Don't you think you should be there?" Karen asked confused. "For Will?"

The topic of conversation was cut short when Mike saw El and Nikki coming down the stairs. Well, more like El dragging Nikki down the stairs. Mike had gotten so shocked that he managed to get his milk to fly all over. Karen seeing his reaction turned to see what he saw but got distracted by Dustin pounding his fists on the table.

"Sorry. Spasm." Dustin explained quickly.

The loud noises from all of the commotion scared Holly, who sunk in her seat further.

"It's okay, Holly." Karen comforted her youngest. "It's just a loud noise."

"Nice." Nancy whispered pointedly at Dustin.

Dustin sank in his chair, relieved the girls didn't get caught.
