After an hour or two of riding with Spirit, they came upon the headquarters. His hearts bounding, he went in the vents like he did all those nights ago. He knew what he came to do. If they fabricated some information they can still hold the case, there must be actual information on the case they're withdrawing. So Dream will hack into Antfrost's computer, take the information from the computer, and use it to find the case, and conduct it himself.
He crawled through the vents, only to find the vent to the room fried shut. Antfrost must've caught on, huh Dream thought to himself. So he went back up and got out of a vent which was out in a hallway. As he picked the lock to the leader's room, he heard incoming footsteps from down another hall. He quickly picked a lot and, leaving the door open, and dove under the desk. The guard passed by and, seeing the door open, looked inside the room. He prayed for the guard not to hear his pulsing heart right now as he hide under the desk. The night guard Alex, after some searching gave up, figuring that it was him being hysterical, and left, singing a song about there not being any aksers.
After that experience, Dream got up quietly and went to the computer. With his experience in coding he hacked his way into the computer and searched through the files. Weirdly enough, he found no files involve the investigation of his family's murder. Was the whole "dropping the investigation" thin a way to give a reason for him to do their dirty work? Just out of curiosity, he scrolled all the way back to the date of the killing, a date he remembered by heart. Surprisingly, he found a file for the murder. Being tenacious of opening this file, finally opened it.

Dream sat in awe as to what he just read. All those years, all the times he worked for them, they were the ones he wanted to get revenge on all these days. The murders of his family just in front of them almost his entire life. It was so obvious! How could he be so stupid! Dream was so appalled that he did not realize Alex standing right behind him.
"Hey! You're not supposed to be here!" Dream, finally coming back to his senses, madly shoved Alex out of the way, and ran past him down the hallway. The guard shot an arrow his way, which gashed his shoulders. He had no time to wince at the pain, but just run. He sloppily made his way down the stairs, tripping and scraping his knee. He made it out though, and dove for the bushes. While Alex was looking for Dream, he hand crawled away from there on the ground, taking Spirit and riding off into the night, left with more anger and more questions than he had before.
