Dream came to the village at around dawn. While the village was seemingly tranquil and peaceful, his thoughts were any but.
HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID, Dream thought, I should've expected that they were the monsters, considering how heartless and money-hungry they were. Dream felt sick to his stomach, jumping off Spirit to barf in a nearby fountain. Even after though, his stomach killed him, it feels like someone did a nasty blow to it. However, he limbed and moaned his way home.
Tired, angry, and defeated, he opened the door to the apartment and almost fell face-first on the floor. Then his spine turned cold. Inside, the apartment was a mess. The little luxuries and furniture were spread all around the floor. Very unnerved, he went into the bathroom, splashing cold water on his face, trying to calm himself down. He then went to check on George after the fight they had last night and entered the bedroom, trying to convince himself to be calm.
The bedroom was a complete mess. Falle curtains. Tore bedsheets. Destroyed Pillows. Dream then looked below him.
Below him, he found George, laying there. He was covered in a pool of blood. Blood trickled from his mouth. An arrow pierced his chest, solidifying that he was gone. George is dead.
"No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No."
Dream's Nos repeated, getting louder and more intense as they went on. Then he screamed, banging the floor with his blood-soaked hands. He went over George's body and cried out his name. He cried it out for heaven and hell to hear, no one listening.
Dream wrapped his arms around George's shoulders and began to cry. Crying like he did back in his family's murder.
He then noticed a piece of paper attached to the back of the fatal arrow. He ripped the paper from the arrow wildly. The paper read this:
You should've minded your own business.
