Mielle pointed what had been bothering me the moment I first saw my reflection. "Paano nangyari 'yun?" She asked but I could only offer a sad smile.

"I'm not really sure how.. but I think it was because of Hiraya."

"Hiraya? The author?"

That startled me. "You know her? You met her?"

"Parang ganun. Nakilala ko lang siya dahil sa first time mong pagpunta dito. I met her through dreams and it was like, she let me know ahead of time what plans she had with you. Pero ayun lang 'yun. Hindi na ulit nangyari ito."

"I see.. Yeah.. Well, what happened before happened again.. but this time, hindi na accident ang nangyari and I can't come back out there at all."

Mielle gasped as she got what I meant. "S-Sorry, ate.. Naiwan mo ulit ang butler mo.. pati ang pamilya mo?"

"Yeah, me too.. but it is what it is. And no," I shook my head. "My butler Minami was my only family."

"Hindi ka nagka-asawa o nagka-anak?"

I shook my head again. "None of that, but.." I smiled as I reminisced my past life. "I left him with someone who will take care of him through thick and thin."

She squeezed my hands. "That's good."

"Mhm." I sighed. "We can talk about this later. We gotta go back with those two before they become suspicious."

"Oo nga, 'lika na ateng!" Mielle linked her arm with mine as we walk back to where Jace and Abriel are.

"Salamat nga pala ha? Ang bilis mong nakagawa ng storya kung paano mo ko nakilala."

She giggled. "Inimagine ko kasi noon pa kung paano nga kung bumalik ka, tapos aksidente tayong nagkita, tapos may magtatanong kung paano kita kakilala, edi ayun. Isa lang 'yun sa mga senaryong naisip ko, hihi!"

I laughed with her. "Thank you for imagining ahead."

"You're welcome! Pasalamat na lang nagtugma sa sitwasyon mo ang sinabi ko, pero walastik din ate ah? Amnesia ang drama mo this time?"

I pouted. "Wala akong choice kasi! Hindi naman tulad ito nang dati na may nakalaan ng character para sa'kin. Ngayon, nganga ako at talagang walang alam sa kung saan nagmula itong katawan na ito."

"Okay lang 'yan! At least dahil sa kung anong nakaraan niyang katawan mo, nag-lead naman para magkita at magkakilala kayo ni Abriel, that lead for us to meet again!"

I had to agree with her. "Yeah, I'm thankful about that. I must say though, she's different from before."

Mielle deeply sighed. "Where to start..?"

"Excuse me?"

We came to stop a few feet away from the two. "Maraming nagbago mula nang bumalik ka sa tunay mong mundo, erm, buhay, ate Aice. 'Yung mga dating nangyari at alam mo noon? May mga nagbago na."

The feeling of uneasiness came back as I listened to her. "E-Example?"

She met my eyes and I could feel the pain and sadness from them. But why?

"Example... Nariza doesn't exist."

My heart dropped. "W-What do you mean Nariza doesn't exist?"
