"Ang ganda 'di ba? Sabi sa'yo, Aice, eh! Kitams?"

There was a lump in my throat that is making it hard to swallow. "O-Oo.. maganda nga."

"I told you!" He exhaled in satisfaction, a big smile on his lips. "Wow.. What a view.."

"I know right? What. A. View. Exactly my thought." The voice of a newly arrived, coming from behind shook my core. I felt like I got punched in my gut at how dangerously low his voice was.

"Rhyn?" Jace asked incredulously. "A-Anong.. Paanong.. Nandito ka? Anong ginagawa mo rito? Paanong nandito ka rin? Kailan ka pa dumating? Kanina ka pa diyan?"

No need to look back. The sound of his steps getting closer were enough to make me think I'm going to have a heart attack.

Since when did he got here? Did he see? Heard? Witnessed?

"I got here before you two did."

My Lord... why? How?

"And imagine how surprise I was when you two arrived here." 

He saw, heard, and witnessed everything. Yup. That statement right there confirmed it... meaning he knew that this was going to happen. 

"O talaga? Saan ka nakatago? Nagtago ka ba o simpleng nakatayo lang? Hindi talaga kita napansin pare." Jace is still oblivious at the wrath that Rhyn is giving off. "Kumain ka na ba? Gusto mo ng pandesal? Naku, kung alam ko lang na nandito ka, sana nabilhan na rin kita ng kape."

Weh? Are you for real, Jace? Or are you just playing it cool for you to not be pleaded guilty of kidna --

"Hindi ba, Aice?"

"H-Ha?"

Jace snickered. "Uutal-utal ka diyan? Lalim na naman ng iniisip mo?" He clicked his tongue as he patted my head. And I swear I didn't imagine it but I heard something snapped. "Ka ko, inimbitahan na lang sana natin si Rhyn kung alam lang natin na pupunta siya dito."

"Natin talaga boss?" My heart leaped at Jace's words as it sounded as if we planned to be here in the first place.. we did not. I got drag here. "Nakalimutan mo na ba na hinila at pinilit mo lang akong sumama sa'yo?"

"Hahaha! Oo nga pala! Pero shhh, kunwari na lang na planado, isipin pa ni Rhyn na kinidnap kita ng walang pahintulot."

"At kailan pa nagkaroon ng pahintulot ang pangingidnap? Edi hindi na kidnapping 'yun." 

He laughed even more. "Oo nga ano? Shungangers ko din minsan!"

"I'm glad you're enjoying my Yelo's company." A hand was suddenly holding the low of my back and I stood straighter than before. I felt a static with his touch. "Siguro naman, okay ka na? Siglang-sigla ka na eh."

Immediately, Jace frowned at what Rhyn did and how close he is standing next to me. "My Yelo? Sa'yo na ba talaga? Sa pagkakaalam ko, hindi ka pa nga sinasagot ah." From frowning to smirking, Jace tauntingly continued, "Ni hindi ka pa ata nanliligaw kay Aice, tapos 'my' na agad? Ha, kung maka-angkin ka wagas porke't sinabi lang ni Aice na may crush siya sa'yo noong high school? Tsk, tsk, tsk."

Oh no.

"Baka hindi mo alam, noon lang 'yun, pare. Hindi ngayon.. so meaning, Aice is single and definitely available."
