I open my eyes slowly adjusting to the light in the room, in which there was barley any, my body suddenly jolts up and shudders, it's cold and damp inside because the cold air has leaked in along with some water droplets that were falling next to my face before I got up. I rub my eyes and notice a small woman in the corner. She was the one who attempted to kill me.
"Oh! You're awake,! How are you feeling ?" The girl asks me her expression not changing as she pushs her glasses up and continues to stare at me
"Oh -u-u m I-I 'm ok,my body just hurts a l-little." I say holding the bottom of my back which was in excursiating pain.
"Well that's good let's go the boss would like to see you." She says leaving the room with me behind her my body was limp my head was pounding and my back was aching, but I couldn't say that I would get just about killed. We walk out into what seemed like an old abandoned skyscraper , it was cold and dark just like the room I had woken up in I look around and see two familiar faces, it was Phinks and Pakunoda. What were they doing here? Where they captured to? I question as to why their here when my thoughts were interrupted.
"Boss she's here and she's awake." The small girl says bringing me up to a man with slick back hair and large coat, he was facing downward ,reading it seemed like quite a rather uncomfortable position.
"Thank you Shizuku, I will be taking it from here." He says Shizuku walks away and he closes his book before turning his head to look at another room "follow me." He says, for a kidnapper his voice is soothing and calm almost like a voice I've heard before, LIKE THE MAN AT THE COFFEE SHOP!
We walk into the room it has cement debris and when you walk it sounds like tiny pieces of gravel ,like the ones that would stuck to your shoe when you ran around in it too much. The man turned to look at me those eyes! Those earrings! It was the man Chrollo from the coffee shop now looking at me, but more intimidating, he was in a long coat with a fur trim around his head ,in what seemed like balck dress pants and long boots his bare skin exposed and all finished off with slicked back hair and a purple tattoo on his forehead.
"Well it seems you remember me." Chrollo said to me lightly chuckling
"Yea, so? If you're gonna kill me kill me already ok, and if you aren't then why am I here?" I ask trying to seem strong but inside I was trembling with fear
" I don't want to hurt you, I want to help you." Chrollo says as his calming grey eyes look into mine which were full of tears waiting to be spilled
"HELP ME!?!? You can't help me I'm perfectly fine,and why would you even want to try!?!." I yell at his my eyes still to the brim with tears he smiles at me
"You have an incredible aura and nen ability, with my help you could be an excellent nen user, and maybe join me and my troupe , and according to Shizuku you may have a hidden nen talent." Chrollo says and he smiles at me
"What troupe? What do you mean? I barley even use my nen and I sure as hell don't want to now." I say snapping back as I actually move back because I don't want to be killed
"The phantom troupe. That is what we call ourselves, and I think you have the potential to have a great power." He says as he moves forwards towards me "Your nen is currently in a very weak state since after yesterday you were shot in the leg ,and used practically all of your energy to protect your self. With me I could make you stronger,but if not I can always take your ability and master it myslef, however I will give you time to think about it until then you will remain here withthe rest of the troupe, I already have send Pakunoda to get you new clothes and other things you may want. "
"You don't want my nen ,and I don't have to stay here if I don't want to, you can't make me." I sternly say.
"Yes I can." Chrollo says as his gaze narrows on me "you are far to weak to use your nen, just by looking at you I can see that your lower back is in excruciating pain, and that your head must be as well. It must've been hard for you to even move when you first awakened. Is that correct?"
" I-I-..." I stutter
"Exsactly what I thought. Now come with me , you need to meet to others." He says as he walks out of the room and into the center of the building where he walks back up to his rock and sits down opening a book once more. I don't know what I should do, I end up leaning awkwardly against a big piece of cement ,before noticed a woman with pink hair , she was next to me, and seemed to be pulling nen threads, being who I was I used Gyo to see, she was pulling nen threads, they're quite gorgeous each one so perfect and an exsact line.
"Your nen threads are quite gorgeous." I say looking at her and smiling
"Thank you, I took my a while to master them" she says looking up at me with a still face " so what's your name." She says going back to pulling nen threads
" oh well my name is Y/N. What about yours?" I ask her still smiling at her even if she's not looking at me
" my name is Machi, very nice to meet you y/n." She says to me letting out a small smile in my direction "so I'm guessing you don't know anyone else besides me, Pakunoda,Phinks , Shizuku and chrollo? She asks me
"Yes. I only know the other 3 because I bought them coffee a day ago, and I only know Shizuku because I've heard her name alot ." I say to her
"Well then ,that there is Nobunaga, next to him is Shalnark." Machi stops her nen threads and points to a samurai looking man and peppy looking blonde boy in a purple and teal outfit. "Over there is Bonolevov, Kortopi, Franklin,and feaitan." She points to a group of men one was short and wore a bandana over his face, then man next to him was the one with long ear lobes who had shot my leg during the auction, but the last 2 I didn't know one was wrapped like a strange mummy and the other looked like the mop i used on my floor last week.
"Aren't you forgetting someone?~♤" A whimsical voice like the one I heard before says to Machi jumping down from a window I see someone who looks like a clown ,his hair defies gravity and he's dressed in outrageous fashion
"I was trying to forget you." Machi scoffs and rolls her eyes "this is Hisoka" she says his name like it's posion in her mouth
"It's a pleasure to meet such a talented nen user like you dear.~♤" he says to me licking his lips and tightly gripping my hand and not letting go after I had extended my hand to shake his.
"Get off of her you weirdo." Nobunaga says from the corner where he's at "she doesn't wanna fight you. " he scoffs before turning back around
"She will one day.~♤" Hisoka say loosening his grip on my had and licking his lips once more
"F-fight you h-heavens no, I don't wanna fight anyone." I say pulling my arm back quickly.
"Get out of here Hisoka, no one cares for your tactics." Machi says as she pulls me away from him and going to a side of the room where Shizuku,shalnark, Feitan, and phinks were
"So why did the boss choose to save you?" Phinks scoffs at me
"Phinks don't be so mean, the boss knows what he's doing." Shalnark says handing playing cards to Machi and Shizuku
"Well h-he said he would train me to be a better nen user." I stutter back to phinks
"I'd take his offer the boss is the best of the best,and knows what he's doing!" Shalnark exclaims to me .
"I would as well. The boss knows what he's doing. " Shizuku says to me while staring at her cards
"Yea he must've kept you alive for a reason." Machi says to me as I sit by her and watch her play cards
"I mean I guess, but I don't understand why he wants to help me.: I say to them sighing
"He sees something in you which means you have something special about ya." Phinks says to me with no scoffing or sarcasm, just pure honesty and curiosity. Why me? why does he want to help me?
