Lost Queen

Part 3.

Mew's POV.

I hugged him without knowing, I was just happy for first magic release. I can feel that he hugs me back and he is rubbing my back, I don't want this to end. I feel safe in his arms and his body us warm to embrace.

"I uhm, I'm sorry. I got carried away" I shyly said when we parted from the hug. He just smiled at me and I just noticed that his lips forms a heart shape when he smile, that dimple of his that forms in his face, those nice white teeth, full cheeks. God, Mew. You're married for fvck sake.

"It's fine, Mew. How's the feeling of the first magic release?" He asked, his voice too is so beautiful and so melodious, I could listen to it whole day.

"It's okay. It's strong and it feels warm" I said and He laughed.

"It's really warm because it's fire" He said then he laugh again. So he can talk like this too huh? and he can laugh too huh? I usually see him frown, his pocker face.

"Are down for today's training? Do you want us to eat together?" I asked him, I still don't want to part with him. There's this feeling that he might vanish if he is out of my sight.

"It's okay but we have to be fast because I have to be at the dean's office" He said and I just nodded at him.


I want to actually know why does he work at the dean's and why he doesn't remember where he really lives. I have somehow thought that maybe he is my lost wife but he got lightning instead of ice so its impossible. But if I were to choose who will be my wife then Gulf is I want.

"You're in daze, Mew. What's wrong?" He asked me when I was just looking at him.

"Nothing. I was just thinking something. Uhm, let's go" I said, he just smiled a bit and nodded.

We walk to the cafeteria inside the school since the food there is great.

"Guuullfff! Hoiiiii... Guuuullfffff!" A loud voice calls his name and we both look towards the direction and its Singto calling him. I look at his face and he got this poker face on.

"You left me. You two are off to eat without me" Singto playfully pouts but I guess he knows by now that got no effect at Gulf. He always clings at Gulf and sometimes I have this feeling to throw Singto away.

"We're off to eat. Come" I said, Singto smiled brightly.

"Yey! Gulf, let's go eat together" Singto immediately clings on Gulf's arm. I look at Gulf's face and its amazing how he keeps that poker face like its nothing. He looked at me too and nods a bit and started walking. I just shake my head and follow them to the cafeteria.

 
"Gulf you always order the same thing" Singto said when Gulf gets a crispy pork with basil.

"Uhmm. What should I get then?" He asked looking at Singto who seems to be asking himself why'd he had to question Gulf.

"Other foods aside from that? Anyway, I heard that the practical exam is in four months." Singto said. Gulf just looked at him then turn his gaze to me and back to Singto before he nods. "And I heard too that the famous magicians are going to be present to observe." Singto added and it made Gulf's brows crease.

"We have to train harder then to show them what we've got" I said and they both just looked at me.

"You have to train harder, they're here to check you out not us" Gulf said and he is right, I almost forgot there that I am the future king of this country. A king without a wife, a king who cannot find his own wife.


"Oh, ok. I gotta train harder then" I said.

"We" He said throwing a slight smile to me and then continues to eat his food while Singto starts blabbering to him things which I know Gulf isn't even interested. I found it funny how he just nods at Singto while the latter keeps talking nonstop.


"Well, I gotta go. I'll see you in the evening practice?" He said when he gather his things leaving me with Singto alone.


"You like him don't you?" He asked.

"Huh?" His question didn't seemed being processed by my brain.

"You like Gulf, right?" He asked again and I am shocked aith the question. Am I that obvious? I mean I'm attracted to him but I don't like him like that, I think.

"What do you mean by that? Of course I like him since he is nice. You look him too right?" I said playing oblivious to the obvious meaning of his question.

"Don't be stupid, Mew. I know you are the future king but right now you're another student here. I'm telling you Gulf is off limits" He said with serious face, where did that jolly singto go? Why am I facing his alter ego? And what what does he mean by off limits? Does he like Gulf, as in romantically? He can't. Ugh, my stupid brain always betrays me.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"You're married already, he is too. You look at him like he means the world to you." He sighed, "Also, the first time I saw him, I got this unusual and dangerous feeling. One of the elders too asked me to keep an eye on him, you have to be careful too. He might harm you" I don't get him. Gulf's dangerous? I doubt that.

"So you're friends of him just so you can keep an eye of him?" I asked with a brow raised. Isn't that taking advantage of him? I don't know Gulf that long but taking advantage of someone is a big NO.

"Nope. I am friends with him because I care for him and keeping an eye for his sake" Singto said, "Anyway, so far he is nice or no unusual behaviour so I guess the elders were wrong. Just take precaution" He added before he left just leaving me there sitting.

Now I am confused.
