Evan got a new job a few months ago and he gets lots of money from it. he has been saving some money to go visit his home country in the former Yugoslavia. He asked me wither i would want to come with him to change my mood and get some relaxation and i agreed.

i never thought that an airplane ticket from Australia to Europe would cost a lot. when Evan bought the tickets, they coasted him thousands of Australian dollars. it’s a good thing that I’ll get to change my mood a bit and breath some fresh air again since ill be away from all the trouble. I don’t mind losing all the people that betrayed me and caused me an uneasy life full of pain and hate. However, i never ever want to lose Evan, my one and only true love. the only person that ever cared for me. some people say that you cant know wither someone really loves you until you let go of them, but i dont think this is true because im pretty sure that i love Evan so much and that he loves me as much too.

I just wanted to be loved for real. When i was 16 years old, one day my dad wanted me to fix something in his iphone, but i didnt know how. he kept annoying me and asking me to fix it although i told him that i didnt know how, so i told him i dont know get it fixed in a phone place thats not my job. he was drinking hot Arabic coffee, so he threw it on my face when i said that fixing phones wasnt my job! the hot coffee got into my ear and eye and on my nose and cheeks. My mom witnessed that, but she only cared about the little bit of coffee splatter on the wall. She didnt care that the coffee might have burned my face or caused me an infection.  Thus i got sad and angry and started crying. i can never forget this incident, as it clearly shows how my own parents abused me and didn’t care for me. in addition to that, i concluded from that incident that my dad might have a bipolar disorder since i studied psychology at school and knew a lot about such stuff.

To get out of my nostalgic mood, i went to the embassy in order to get my visa, surprisingly everything went on smooth. It usually doesn’t since im Arab and have an Arabic passport, i obviously need a visa everywhere, even to some middle eastern countries too.

A few weeks have passed, and its finally the time for our travel. I packed a huge bag that i didnt completely fill since i like spending money and shopping when i travel. On the other hand, Evan packed a kind of small size suitcase that fits all his essentials. If i had to pack the same size bag as Evan, none of my essentials would fit in. My makeup bag itself needs one full small size suitcase.  Evan quickly got dressed and wore comfortable clothes, and sat in the living room flipping through the pages of an old magazine, waiting for me to finish getting dressed. Off course i took a long time getting ready since we will be meeting part of Evans family the day we arrive. I wore my red Givenchy pencil skirt and a flowy white blouse, and i quickly got my feet in my nude Steve madden heeled sandals.

we were in a hurry trying to get to the airport in the fastest way possible. i could feel the cold breeze gently swirling around my neck as the taxi cab went faster. After we arrived to the airport, we checked all our passports and stuff then hopped into the airplane. its going to be long flight and i didnt have time to pack on the go food as i dont like airplane meals.

I was starving in the plane, but i eventually fell asleep in Evan's muscular arms. After many flight hours, we finally arrived to Europe, more specifically to the former Yugoslavia. Evan's family greeted us at the airport and to be honest, they were really nice. However, Evan did warn me that people from his country dont like Arabs much and because i have tan skin and many people think im Indian or Latin American, Evan also told me to ignore the stairs of some people as they view Indians as gypsies.

Im in love with this country! its so green and fresh.  Later that day, after we relaxed and put our stuff in Evan's family's house, we all went walking towards a mysterious hidden lake. The lake came into view as we all rode around a bend in the trail; we stopped and gazed at the beautiful scene. The water while calm had so many different hues of blue and green, reflecting the bright blue sky and the fresh green trees, near the shore it was pale blue, nearly translucent, as it got deeper it changed from pale blue to deep dark blue. The trees on the far side of the lake were mirrored on the lake, with it being fall, the leaves were in full color, and as the lake rippled, they seemed to dance with a life of their own. the handful of wild duck feeding just offshore were splashing and diving, the heron wading in the shallows dipping his head in and out of the water had that majestic look. The blue jays were feeding upside down from some plants at the water’s edge. The scene was amazingly beautiful.

As we sat quietly on the edge of a giant rock, three whitetail deer came from the forest edge, as two drank it seemed as if the other one was the lookout, looking around for any sign of threat, a little way from the deer a trout jumped and the deer whirled and ran back into cover of the trees. It was actually the first time i ever see a deer, as there are no deers in both Australia and the Middle East. It was one lovely day! I woke up next morning full with energy, finding myself lying in Evan's arms on a couch. I might have slept on our way back to his family's house, as im still not used to the different timing.
