Note : If you ask how a tank can take ARTs damage, simple, normal ARTs will be like a normal artillery shell landing next to you, taking out tracks and cannons. However high grade Caster will have some penetration, or outright bomb levels of destruction to the tank

The driver won the round of tic-tac-toe
That's the most important part of this chapter

Okay, maybe i should have listened to their converstion, but can you blame me? I look like a seven year old, and act like one as well
Am i seven years old though? No clue
Well, Mephisto seems to want to hang me like a rag, and ClownSlayer wants to murder the drug dealer
Arknights want to retreat to their evac
And i want to use my 90mm cannon to ka-boom
And naturally, Arknights asked for support, my response was natural
Jack : you got any chocolate bars? I deal in candy
Doctor lookin headass : no, but we have a cook that can make pancakes
Jack : you sketchy looking doctor i'm in
I know who the cook is, and i know i have infinite food in my inventory, but i wanna taste her cooking

Getting out of the tank, i approach the 'sad cat'
Jack : i want her on the machine gun!
I pointed towards the most likely rich, but sad, cat
??? : eh-EH!? b-but i'm n-not that good!
Jack : even better! You can cause more damage to the terrorists!
However, just as i was about to push her to the machine gun, the doctor said
Doctor : apologies, but we'll need her in our group to shoot down drones
I pouted and mumbled a 'fine'
Hopping back onto the tank, i enter through the hatch and shout out
Jack : you better not break the deal or i stab ya legs!
My crew looked at me with deadpanned expressions
-POV change, 3rd person-
After 10 minutes of organizing and deploying units into strategic positions, they were prepared for the attack
Jack used her binoculars to view the incoming groups, also seeing the familiar hood from ClownSlayer at the back
Jack's tank was placed in the middle of the road to block the enemies and for movement
Two rangers were in seperate buildings to her left and right, only having one healer to patch them up from a far
Jack had the crew load HE and hopefully cause a few warcrimes
The rest of the Arknights operators were placed in the other alleyways and buildings near the doctors position to provide defences against charging enemies
Seconds later, the first wave came
JACK VS GRUNT!
FIGHT!
*KA-BOOOM!*
JACK, WINS! FLAWLESS VICTORY!
The tank had eliminated the first wave without issue, the two rangers had covered their ears in pain due to not expecting such a loud sound
The other operators also did okay, didn't hold a candle to Jack though
ClownSlayer then ordered ARTs users to fire at the tank
Jack noticed the Casters and turned the machine gun towards them, however the Casters had fired first
Their attacks slammed against the hull, taking out the cannon and the tracks
If the reader were to listen carefully, you would hear jack scream something along the lines of 'IT'S LIKE ARTILLERY! MY EARS!', or maybe it was something else?
Either way, the armored Reunion units noticed the damage and rush forwards, thinking they were mostly safe
Just to suddenly recieve heavy fire from the browning on top of the tank
The rangers then also started firing to support the now damage tank
Doctor took note of the situation and ordered a caster to help them with the armored units
The friendly caster agrees and eliminates the enemy units with ease
The reunion still didn't give up, they had to get rid of the tank
Suddenly, the damaged tank had come back to working condition and started to provide heavy fire against the enemies, now using AP to turn the opposing force into meat paste
Seeing the tank back in order, the caster returned to her position to help the other operators against the Reunion
ClownSlayer was alarmed at the tanks repair speed, knowing that the kind of damaged it sustained should not be repairable almost instantly
She then headed towards the other Arknight units to actually breach their defences than continue to throw water ballons against a steel wall
Jack having seen no more enemies, remained stationary and proceeded to bring out even more food, naturally handing some to the crew, the rangers and the healer
-POV change, ClownSlayer-
'damn it! How did the tank take ARTs damage and not bloe up!? ARTs go through armor!'
Feeling frustrated, i rush a different path towards the doctor, if i can't go through the tank, i'll go through the operators instead
I know that tank can't come back here, it would leave that road open to our grunts
Going past the Defender, continue down the path, until it was blocked by another defender
C.S (ClownSlayer) : don't interrupt me
??? : apologies, but as my pride as a knight, i will have to intervene
Watching her hold up her shield and mace, i charge her expecting to deal with her quickly, just to get blocked and kicked back
C.S : it seems i underestimated you, knight
...... Wait shit
C.S : but, it seems i must go now, i have more important matters to deal with
Backing out from the fight, i rush back to base in a panick
'oh shit i left the stove on'
