i open my eyes, yelping a little from the light shined directly into my eye

??? : ah, sorry, didn't think that you'd wake up so soon

Jack : are you the doctor i helped back at Chernobog?

Doctor : correct, and this here, as you could probably guess, is Amiya, she is a Cautus

(i literally thought to myself "i could have sworn that Arknights had a name for each race in the game" and so i went to their wikipedia)​

Jack : sweet, am i in your home, or am i being kidnapped?

Doctor : well, it's not a normal home, but a home no less, the kidnapping? I guess we are? I don't really know, i'm just a doctor

Right after saying that, Amiya had started to very lightly punch Doctor's chest

Amiya : Doctah! We aren't kidnapping anyone!

Doctor : but we didn't ask Jack's parents about this

Amiya : ah

Everything was quiet for a bit, until Amiya turned around and gently grabbed my hands

Amiya : could you please call your mom? I didn't know if you had parents or not

Jack : that's okay, mom's always with me!

Amiya and Doctor suddenly took a solemn look onto their faces

Suddenly hearing a voice resound across the entire room, they start to panic a little

Harbour : don't worry, i won't rip you limb from limb, unless you hurt my little girl, that is
