Jack was not planning to get on a rollercoaster
Anyone who has played Halo 4 should realize what part i'm talking about
Jack : I'M NEVER RIDING A GHOST WITH YOU EVER AGAIN!
yep, Chief was riding a ghost through a collapsing canyon of sorts at a dangerous speed
A grunt wearing a police outfit even tried to stop him
Chief doesn't follow the law because he is THE law
Jack : HE PROBABLY HAD A FAMILY!
Chief : there's no speed limit on a Forerunner planet
Jack : HOW WOULD YOU EVEN KNOW THAT!?
Cortana : i read through the archives, they really don't have speed limits here
Jack continued to cry in terror
Some of you might be thinking "just hold onto Chief tighter", she's still stuck to his weapons magnet, on his back, with no seatbelt what so ever
The Ghost soon reached tye end of the canyon, leading into the shadow realm down below
But there was some kind of ramp at the end
Cortana : Chief, please remember that you have a child taped to the back of you
Jack : WHAT IS HE DOING!?
Cortana : *sigh* it seems like we'll be airborne soon
Before Jack could scream profanities, the feeling of no gravity soon came back
Jack could only think of one thing
'i should have kept the wasps'
After a few seconds of air time, the Ghost slammed into a small elevated plane, soon catching fire
Thinking quickly Chief jumped of the Ghost, skidding across the ground and nearly falling off
Looking down he saw a flash and the sound of the Ghost exploding down below
A click was soon heard and Jack fell to the floor, cradling her legs
She was likely traumatized
Cortana : maybe we should soothe her?
Chief guitly nodded, feeling sorry for Jack
Rubbing her back for a bit, the radio soon turned on, the sound of a worried old man was heard
??? : mayday mayday, this is the UNSC Infinity, our power had been cut and we are losing altitude, mayday, mayday!
Cortana : this is UNSC AI Cortana, we are here and ready to help
??? : Cortana? Is the Chief with you?
Cortana : affirmative, we will head towards your crash site, over
??? : roger that, we'll be sending a few Spartans and Marines out to find you, over and out
The radio soon cut out, but the sound of Jack's silent sobbing was still heard
Chief knew he couldn't wait for Jack to relax, so he picked her up and carried her using the piggy back style
Making sure she was secure, he headed down the path towards the Infinity

Walking through the forrest, he could see the Infinity
Cortana : that is one big ship, if i remember correctly, the ship was still in construction while you were asleep
