Chapter 25 - Anniversary

Annie's Point of View

I woke up without Armin beside me. I slowly sat up and got my phone to check the date today. I smiled as I looked at the date. It has already been a year since me and Armin became a couple.

Another reason why I planned a trip here.

I got up and went to the bathroom to change my clothes then I went to Ymir and Historia's room.

"It's payback time." I whispered as I slowly opened the door and ran towards their bed to jump on them.

"HEY! THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!" Ymir shouted as I stepped on her back. Historia laughed as she sat up and watched Ymir being squished.

"The only thing that's hot about you is your head gosh." I slapped her ass cheeks before standing up.

"Have you seen Armin?" they both looked at opposite directions and shook their head.

I sighed and sat on their bed as both of them got ready to eat breakfast.

It's the morning of our anniversary but he isn't even here.

"Hey Sashaaaa!" Ymir shouted and Sasha shouted back. Gosh these two.

"What's up with the long face, Annie?" Niccolo asked me.

"It's nothing. Let's go eat." We started eating but I couldn't seem to finish my food when I didn't see Armin around.

"Have you guys seen Armin?"

"O-Oh. He left with someone earlier." Sasha answered, staring at her food.

He left with someone? At our anniversary? Did he forget?

When we finished eating, we headed to the private infinity pool just near the beach. They played volleyball while I just stayed under the umbrella. I got my phone and dialed Armin.

"Hey baby did you eat your breakfast?" he said on the other line.

"Hmm just done. Where are you?"

"Something at work came up." I sighed and didn't answer for a while.

"Well I gotta finish this bye baby--"

"That's it?"

"What do you mean that's it?" He confusedly asked.

"Don't you remember anything?"

"No baby what is it?"

"Nevermind. Take care then I love you."

"I love you too." He ended the call and I dropped my phone on the table.

Gosh he's making my blood boil.

I looked at the others while they played volleyball in the pool. Ymir and Historia held hands while Sasha was holding Niccolo's back.

Gosh that's not even how you play it.

I rolled my eyes and stood up.

"Where are you going?!" Ymir shouted from afar.

"Walk." I lazily replied and began walking through the shoreline.

"We could've been walking together right now while holding hands." I sighed as I kicked the shells on my way.

I didn't notice how far I've walked so I sat down on a shaded area. I began doodling on the sand and just enjoyed the calm and peace.

Suddenly I was hit by a ball. I was about to rampage when I saw who it was.
