Armin's Point of View

I stood in front of the mirror as my father fixed my suit.

"You've grown." he muttered while straightening the tiniest crease on my clothes. "You used to be a shy boy who was easily intimidated by others. But ever since you got accepted into the company, you glowed differently."

I turned around and smiled. I'm grateful for having him as my dad. He was always so supportive and whenever I failed my interviews, he would always cheer me up.

A knock was heard and my mom came in. Her eyes widened but immediately softened as she smiled widely at me. She walked towards me and gave me a long hug.

"They're waiting for you." she said with teary eyes. I nodded and headed outside.

As the ceremony began, I walked down the aisle. Everyone who has been a witness of our own love was here.

The doors opened up. It was as if my world was in slow motion. The brightness from the outside reflected her silhouette upon me. After several seconds, there I saw her.

The woman I'll be spending my life of love with. The woman I loved since the very beginning. Someone who accepted me for who I was.

Annie Leonhart.

While she walked down the aisle, I started reminiscing the past.

"I'm late..." I quickly asked a lady where the interview room was. "Thank you!" I bowed before rushing off.

I suddenly bumped into a woman. She fell down. She had this intimidating look but as she looked up to me, her eyes softened.

It was the first time I met her. In fact, I already knew that the interview room was just in front of us, I followed her to her office despite me being late, because I fell in love at first sight. And I didn't want that to be our last meeting.

She looked intimidating but I sensed softness inside of her. Her eyes shone through me and made me drown in her oceans for the first time.

And now, she's walking down the aisle. Her dress complemented her elegant look. Her hair was tied up as usual. Her soft skin glowed, her plump lips glimmered.

She reached her father. He smiled at her and escorted her to me. I held out my elbows which she gladly accepted as she snaked up her hands on my arms.

The ceremony went on until we said our wedding vows.

"Annie Leonhart. It was serendipity meeting you, but I don't regret a thing. I loved you since the very beginning up until this day, and the future that awaits us. You were the moon that shone on my darkest days, but I realized you were not just that. You were the whole sky. You were the moon who knew all of my secrets. You were the stars that granted all of my wishes. You were the clouds that made me feel heaven. And you were also the Sun, who I look up to seeing every morning. I loved travelling to different places. Places that provided beauty and serenity. But ever since I met you, no matter where we went or how pleasing the view was, I would always find my self looking at you. Not just your physical appearance but your inner self as well. You were an independent woman who was sure of her wants and needs. And you molded me into a man who could give you everything. I, Armin Arlert, take you, Annie Leonhart, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until we are parted by death. This is my solemn vow."

She got the microphone and looked at me with teary eyes. She smiled sweetly like she was the most harmless being.

"Armin Arlert. You were the change in my life that I didn't expect. The life I had before I had you was a life full of gray tones. You were the palette who held every color that painted my world. Yellow for the sun that I once hid from, but you painted it to be bright and warm. Blue for the seas which I once hated, but you painted it to be cool and bright just like your eyes. Green, red, white, you painted every corner of my dull world like you were an instrument sent from above to make me escape from my misery. You changed all my bad habits, you brought in people to my life which I never knew I needed, you filled every gap in my imperfect life, just to please such a perfectionist like me. How lucky am I to call you mine? Your love and trust makes me a better person, each and every day. For all those times that we've been together, there's always been a mutual understanding that's only shared when two people love each other truly. You were there for my greatest challenges. You encouraged me to grow. You helped believe in myself and become the person that I am today. In your arms and by your side, I know I can do anything. I'm proud to call you my husband. I vow to support you, inspire you, and love you always. For as long as we both shall live, I will be by your side-for better or worse, in sickness and health, for richer or poorer."
