Hello Lovies ❤ How are you all?

I've been in a writing mood lately. Covid-19 has left most of us with literally nothing to do and nowhere to go, so like I always say; when all fails, write.

I know most of you, like myself don't fancy reading extremely long author's notes, but I do need to make a few things clear and just tell you all a little about myself - the author.

I live on a beautiful small island in the Caribbean, Saint Lucia. I've only ever visited one other country regionally which is Trinidad. I was supposed to visit England to see my granduncle back in 2017, but I was detained at Gatwick due to some ticket issue so I was flewn back home right then and there. What a story to tell.

Lol. Anyway, I've always wanted to travel the world and since I'm not able to do that (yet) - I'm speaking it into existence - I'm going to use my imagination and write of a place that I think that I would love.

This is a book of fiction so why the hell not? The state that this book takes place is MADE UP. I remember when I first got the idea to write this book, I spent hours and days researching countries and states. I was driving myself mad until I decided to just create my own place. It wouldn't be fair to write about a place like let's say, California or Florida when I've never been.

YOU the lovely readers get to use your imagination. There will be mentions of other countries but like I said, the state that the story takes place in, is made up.

Again, this is a work of FICTION, guys. Most of the stuff that you read may not make sense or align with what you already know. Hopefully it'll be written well enough to convince you that it is as real as YOU make it. Rules, laws, places (except for the names of Countries) will mainly be from my imagination. So if something doesn't make sense to you or it seems 'wrong', then I've most likely made it up. I hope this doesn't confuse you guys.

A few other things:

• I do not own any of the pictures or media that you guys will see. If any of you see that the owners would like credit or if there's a problem and they want me to take it down, please let me know.

• Constructive critism is always appreciated, but please no bashing and disrespect in the comments loves.

• Feel free to make banners and trailers, whatever you like. I'll be creating an email address for all things related to this story. I will keep you guys updated when I do that.

• Get ready to laugh, cry, throw your phone at the wall and chew your fingernails in anticipation.

This is only a first draft so forgive me if there are grammatical errors and some parts of the story don't make sense or add up. I'll come back to make corrections.

Also, IMPORTANT NOTICE! This book will be touching on lots of controversial topics like; harassment, bullying, racism, sexism etc. Please, if you cannot handle any of these topics and don't have an open mind, please, please, I beg that you go no further.

Even if this is a work of fiction, I'm trying to make this book as believable as possible and all of these things (even though they're going to be used fictitiously) that I've mentioned above are REAL. I am not writing to offend anyone, this truly is going to be a fun filled book but I'd just like to shed light on some of these topics.

So if you're willing to give me and my characters a chance, I appreciate you 🙂 and if not, that's okay too. I'd rather persons not read, than read and leave disgusting comments. I'd love to have honest, fun and open conversations with my readers. I hope I'm not asking too much of you.
