It is a hot sunny day in New York City, and a group of teens were walking to Blake's house for a sleepover. Before we get into the story let me introduce you to the characters. Blake is about 5'8, has blond hair, and beautiful emerald green eyes. Riker is 5'6, has light brown hair, and has mysterious hazel eyes. Myles is in the middle of Blake and Riker's height, he is 5'7, has dark brown hair, and has ocean blue eyes. Echo is 5'5, has dark brown hair, and hazel eyes. Lastly we have Nyra, she is 5'4, has light brown hair, and green eyes. Now that you know the characters let's get on with the story.
They were walking out of school heading to Blake's house when they bump into a stranger. The stranger looked like he was about 5'9, he has grayish blackish hair, and gray eyes. He looked mysterious.
"Sorry sir," the group apologized and grabbed the pieces of paper that the stranger dropped.
"Keep it," he told them and walked away.
The group gave each other confused looks and each got a piece of paper.
"What was that about?" Riker asked.
"I don't know," Echo said.
"Did you guys feel that?" Blake asked.
"Feel what I didn't feel anything," Myles responded.
"Never mind let's just go," Blake said.
They just shrugged and kept on walking. When they were close to his house they started to feel weird, but no one said anything.
"What do you guys want to do when we get there?" Riker asked.
"Oh can we go in the pool?" Nyra asked.
"Sure!" Blake exclaimed.
"Yay!" Nyra exclaimed.
When they got to Blake's house they can never get used to how big his house is. It's like a mansion. When you walk into the house, there is a stairway that leads to two separate ways. Blake's room is on the left of the stairway. Blake's room looked like a whole house, it had a basketball court, a couch and a TV, a giant bathroom, a giant bed, a whole library, and a little kitchen.
"Dude I can never get used to how HUGE your room and house is," Myles said.
Blake just chuckled and said, "Well when your dad and mom work all the time, they'll think money is the best company for you."
"Ok I see you rich kid," Echo said laughing.
"Yeah yeah," Blake said chuckling.
Echo and Blake always acted like they were siblings, the rest of their friends are more like cousins. They set up their sleeping bags on the floor next to Blake's bed. Blake decided to set up his sleeping bag on the floor with them so it's fair.
"You don't have to sleep on the floor with us you know," Riker told Blake.
"Yeah I know, but I want to," Blake said.
"Yeah right," Riker said.
"I'm not lying!" Blake shouted.
"Uh huh, I totally believe you," Riker said sarcastically.
"You know wha-" Blake got cut out from Echo.
"Can you guys stop acting like little babies, you guys are really getting on my nerves!" Echo yelled.
"He started it," Blake whined and pointed at Riker.
Echo just shook her head and face palmed. Once they were done setting up their sleeping bags.
Echo saw her piece of paper and asked, "I wonder why that man told us to keep little pieces of paper?"
"Me too. I had a weird feeling when I touched the paper," Myles told his friends.
"Same," Echo, Blake, and Riker said in unison.
"It felt like a shock of energy going through my body," Myles said.
The rest nodded. They didn't hear a response from Nyra, she looked like she was zoned out.
"Nyra? Did you feel something when you touched the paper?" Echo asked.
"Hmm? Oh yeah I did," she responded and nodded.
"Why are the pieces of paper folded?" Blake asked.
"There's probably something written on there maybe," Riker said.
"Yeah maybe, let's not worry about it, we can open them up tomorrow. Right now lets have some fun!" Blake exclaimed.
The group of friends laughed.
"You guys want to go in the pool now?" Nyra asked.
"Sure we can go in the pool. Plus it's hot outside so it's perfect," Myles said.
"Ok boys out, we need to change," Echo said, scooting the boys out of the room.
"This is MY room so you ladies go out and we stay here," Blake said crossing his arms.
"Yeahhh, but you see I don't really care so get out," Echo said, pushing Blake out of the room.
"Ugh fine!" Blake groaned in defeat.
"Haha I win again," Echo said through the closed door.
"I let you win," Blake said, sounding a bit muffled.
"Uh huh," Echo said, crossing her arms.
"I did! I had to let my younger friend win because I'm a gentleman," Blake said.
"Blake sweetheart, I'm older than you," Echo said giggling.
"Whatever," Blake said. Echo heard his footsteps fading and shook her head at how childish he is.
"That was quite a show," Nyra said.
Echo jumped, putting a hand over her heart and said, "Oh my gosh you scared me."
"Sorry I didn't mean too," Nyra apologized and looked down at her feet.
"No no no it's fine I just didn't see you there," Echo reassured her. "Now let's get changed," Echo said, grabbing a purple one piece and teal shorts from her bag.
Nyra nodded and took out a black plain shirt and some gray shorts. Echo went to the bathroom and changed, then Nyra went. Once Nyra finished changing she went out of the bathroom.
"You look good Ny," Echo complimented and nudged her arm.
"Thanks! You look good too," Nyra thanked.
"Your welcome, now let's go!" Echo exclaimed and dragged Nyra out of the room.
"Slow down Echo," Nyra said.
"Oh yeah sorry," Echo apologized.
Nyra just giggled at her friend. When they went outside they already saw the boys in the pool.
