It was the next day, and Blake woke up first. He rubbed his eyes and checked what time it was and it was 7:35 AM. Ugh I want to keep on sleeping but I can't; he thought. He got up and grabbed a little bag that had new toothbrushes in it. He brushed his teeth, washed his face, and combed his hair. Once he finished, he walked outside to find a quiet house. How is everyone sleeping so peacefully and why is Riker sleeping on the floor? Blake then went to check on Nyra, though he wasn't surprised she was still asleep. He walked into the room and sat on the bed. "Hope you get better soon," Blake whispered and kissed Nyra on the forehead.
Then he got up to find Riker standing outside. "Dang Riker, you scared me," Blake said, putting his hand on his chest.
"That's what I do, so you and Nyra huh you guys a thing?" Riker asked.
"Um, no, not yet," Blake said.
"Oooo you said yet," Riker teased. "Are you going to ask her out or?" Riker asked.
"No, I'm going to wait till she is fully recovered," Blake said.
"Ok you do you then," Riker said walking back into the living room. Blake went into the kitchen to find something to eat.
"Hey guys, what you up to?" Echo asked.
"Just Blake kissing Nyra on the forehead," Riker said like it was normal.
"No way for real!" Echo exclaimed, causing Myles to wake up.
"Thanks Echo, now I'm awake," Myles said.
"Sorry," Echo apologized.
"It's fine," Myles said and got up.
"I'm going to get ready," Myles said grumpily walking into the bathroom.
"Well, someone's in a bad mood anyway did you actually kiss Nyra on the forehead?" Echo asked Blake.
"Uh yeah, I did," Blake said.
"That's so cute," Echo awed.
"Uh huh, so who wants scrambled eggs and bacon?" Blake asked.
"Ooooo me me me," Riker said, jumping up and down like a little child.
"Ok eggs and bacon coming right up," Blake said.
"I never knew you could cook," a female voice said. Echo, Blake, and Riker turned around to find Nyra standing there.
"Nyra!" Echo yelled and gave her a tight hug.
"Echo... can't... breath," Nyra said.
"Oh sorry," Echo said, letting her go.
"Nyra, you're ok!" Riker exclaimed, doing their signature handshake.
"Yeah, I'm ok though my head is pounding," Nyra said.
"Want a glass of water?" Blake asked.
"Sure," Nyra said.
"Here you go," Blake said, giving her a glass of water. When Blake give Nyra the glass of water, they locked eyes. They stayed like that for a couple of minutes until Myles came out of the bathroom.
"Nyra, I'm so glad you're ok," Myles said hugging her. "I'm so sorry," Myles apologized.
"For what?" Nyra asked.
"You almost died because of me and my stupid plan," Myles said.
"Your plan wasn't stupid it worked we defeated Illusion Master right?" Nyra asked.
"Yeah, we did," Myles said.
"See therefore your plan wasn't stupid," Nyra said.
"Yeah, but you went unconscious," Myles said.
"Myles, it's not your fault I knew I was going to get hurt when I used my power," Nyra said putting her hand on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry, Nyra," Myles apologized again.
"I forgive you," Nyra said, pulling him into a hug and he hugged back.
"Breakfast is ready," Blake said, putting plates of food on the counter.
"Yay food!" Riker exclaimed and grabbed the plate. Everyone else also grabbed a plate and sat down on the couch, expect for Nyra and Blake.
"Are you sure you're ok?" Blake asked.
"Yeah, but when I went unconscious, I had some kind of dream," Nyra said.
"Can you tell me about it?" Blake asked.
"Well, it was Illusion Master with another person and we had another team member," Nyra explained.
"Do you know who it is?" Blake asked.
"No, I don't," Nyra said.
"Well, at least you're ok," Blake said, putting his hand on her's. "Oh, um s-sorry," Blake apologized, removing his hand, his cheeks turning slightly pink.
"No, it's ok," Nyra said, putting her hand on his. His face started turning red.
"Is someone blushing?" Nyra teased.
"No," Blake said, turning his face away.
"You don't have to hide it," Nyra told him.
"Guys, check this out!" Echo shouted. Blake and Nyra walked to the couch where Myles, Riker, and Echo were. They saw themselves on the TV.
"A group of teenagers saved New York City from an evil supervillain named Illusion Master. There team name is 'Rise of the Superheroes' and they go by the names Multiplyer, Silverbeat, Shadow, Electra, and Firebeast. Half of New York is on work, for now families are going to be in shelter until everything is back to normal. Thank you Rise of the Superheroes for saving us Andy out," the news reporter said.
"Wow, we're famous," Riker said.
"Yeah but lets not get fame get to us remember we are superheroes not celebrities," Echo said.
"Yeah, I'm going to go back to my place," Blake said.
"We're coming we need to get our stuff anyway," Nyra said.
"Ok that's fine it's going to be a long walk though," Blake said.
"Fine with me," Myles said.
"Same," Echo and Nyra said.
"I don't want to walk," Riker whined.
"To bad you're walking with us," Echo said, dragging Riker outside the house. Myles, Blake, and Nyra laughed and walked outside with Riker whining and Echo dragging him.
