"Where's Nyra?" Echo asked as she noticed her friend gone.
"She should be here. All she had to do was turn off the power," Myles said, shrugging.
"So she must be in the power room," Echo said, heading towards the room. Blake, Myles, and Riker followed her, wanting to know where Nyra could be.
I hope she's ok. Blake thought.
If she's hurt, then it's my fault, Myles thought, feeling guilty.
Why Nyra? Riker asked himself. When they got there Echo opened the door to the room.
"I can't see it's pitch black," Echo said, walking into the room.
"Don't worry," Riker said, using his power for light.
"Thanks," Echo said, and Riker nodded. Echo kept walking deeper into the room to find Nyra unconscious on the cold floor. "Nyra!" Echo shouted, going next to her and checking her pulse. "She has a pulse, but it's weak," Echo said.
Oh, no Nyra's hurt and it's my fault! Myles thought, his heart racing. "I'm sorry this is my fault," Myles said, looking down, ashamed of himself.
"Not right now Myles we need to get out of here," Echo said pointing at a power box that is sparking.
"Ok lets go, Blake and Riker pick her legs up, and Echo and I will take care of her arms," Myles gave out directions and Blake, Riker, and Echo nodded.
"We can't go across the entire city to go to Blake's house, we have to go somewhere closer," Riker said.
"Yeah, and by house you mean mansion, anyway my house is close, it's just two blocks away," Echo said.
"Alright, I guess we're going to Echo's house," Blake said.
"Yes, now less talking, more moving," Myles said.
They walked out of the room carrying Nyra's limp body. Some buildings were still on fire, but they had more important things to do. Once they made it to Echo's house, they place Nyra on the white leather couch.
"I'm going to get a first aid kit," Echo said.
"I'm going to get us some water," Blake said, leaving the room.
"Um, I'm going to go help Blake," Riker said awkwardly, leaving Nyra and Myles alone.
"I'm so sorry Nyra it's all my fault. I knew I shouldn't have left you alone. If you died, I wouldn't be able to live with that. Knowing that I killed my best friend, that would be torture," Myles said choking back a sob. Myles watched her motionless body, tears threatening to spill a waterfall. He hugged her tightly and whispered, "I'm sorry." He then let go, wiping some tears that escaped, resting his head down on the couch. Minutes later Echo came back with a fist aid kit.
"Where Riker and Blake?" Echo asked.
"Said they were going to get water," Myles responded.
"Ok," Echo said.
"Do you think we should call a doctor?" Myles asked.
"Yeah, but how are we going to do that with..... THE MINIONS!" Echo shouted. "We forgot to take down the minions," Echo said more calmly.
"Great," Myles said sarcastically.
Blake and Riker then ran into the room, spilling some water on the way.
"Thanks for spilling water all over my floor," Echo said, rolling her eyes.
"You are welcome," Riker said, placing waters on the table.
"I heard someone yelled 'THE MINIONS' so what's that about?" Blake asked.
"We forgot to take down the minions after we defeated Illusion Master," Echo said.
"Yay more fighting," Blake sighed.
"Can't we just take care of them after Nyra wakes up?" Riker asked.
"Yeah, we can, but we need a doctor to make sure Nyra is going to wake up," Echo explained.
"Ohhh and some of the doctors are probably minions," Riker said.
"Yeah," Echo said.
"So does that mean we're going to fight minions?" Blake asked.
"I don't want to but it if we have to do it for Nyra then I'm doing it," Echo said.
"Yeah, I'm in," Myles said.
"Same," Riker and Blake said together.
"Ok guys lets quickly do this then," Echo said, and they nodded. They went outside the house and looked for the minions. I feel like I'm missing something, Echo thought.
Minutes later they saw minions, but they were just standing still as if they were statues.
"Do you guys know what Illusion Master used to control them?" Myles asked.
"The staff!" Echo exclaimed. "I think I left it in that power room," Echo said, running towards it.
"Echo, be careful!" Blake shouted.
"I will it's going to be quick!" Echo shouted back. The boys just stood there waiting for Echo to return. "I got it!" Echo exclaimed, running towards them. While running, she tripped. She waited for the impact but it never came and she opened her eyes seeing that she was floating.
"How are you doing that?" Riker asked.
"I don't know," Echo said, confused.
"Try to come back down," Blake said.
Echo moved unsteadily to the floor, almost falling, but she caught her balance.
"That was....cool!" Riker exclaimed.
"Yeah, we'll worry about it later let's turn the minions back to normal people," Echo said.
