Rise of the Superheroes

Chapter 15 -Edited-

Echo led them to where all the minions were. She tapped them with the staff that turned them back to normal. Most of the families couldn't go back to their houses because of the destruction that they caused.

"Don't worry guys, we'll get everything back to normal," Myles said.

"Good job, Echo," Blake said. "

Thanks," Echo said. "I think I can do this by myself one of you guys find a doctor one go with Nyra and one go help families or kids find their parents," Echo ordered.

"Yes ma'am, I'm going to go with Nyra," Riker said.

"I'm going to go find a doctor," Myles said.

"I guess I'm going to go help families," Blake said.

"Alright, I'll meet you guys back at my house," Echo said. They nodded, and they each went their ways. Echo felt weak but still pulled through. She kept turning everyone back to normal. Once she was done, she went to her house to find everyone already there.

"Finally you came back," Riker said.

"Why? What did I miss?" Echo asked.

"Myles got a doctor, and he told us that Nyra's going to be fine and all she needs is rest," Riker explained. Echo sighed in relief and pulled Riker into a tight hug. Riker was tense at first, but then hugged her back. They let go and walked to the living room.

"Make sure she feels comfortable and gets lots of rest," Riker and Echo heard the doctor say. The doctor got up and walked over to the door. Echo noticed that the man looked familiar.

"Do I know you?" Echo asked the doctor.

"I don't think so," the doctor said.

"Hmm ok, I guess I mistook you for someone else," Echo said unsure.

"That's fine anyway I'm going to get going to make sure she gets lots of rest," the doctor said and headed out of the house.

"I'm guessing I took long," Echo said.

"Yeah," Myles said.

"Did I miss anything else?" Echo asked.

"No, not really she's doesn't have any severe injuries," Blake said.

"Ok good," Echo said, nodding. "Well, it's getting late we should all go to sleep," Echo said yawning.

"But we don't have any spare clothes to change in," Riker said.

"Guys have you already forgotten that we always leave spare clothes at each other's places," Echo said.

"Oh yeah," the boys said together.

"Yeah, so go get your clothes and change," Echo ordered.

"Yes ma'am," Riker said, and the boys went to get their clothes. Blake was of course the first one done changing.

"Hey Blake, can you put Nyra in one of the guest room please?" Echo asked.

"Yeah, which one," Blake said, carrying Nyra.

"The one at the end of the hall on the right thanks," Echo said. Blake nodded, and Riker and Myles came out and sat on the couch.

"Where's Nyra and Blake?" Myles asked.

"In the guest room down the hall," Echo answered.

"Oooooo Blake's got a girlfriend," Riker said at the same time as Blake walked in the room.

"What'd you say?" Blake asked. "Uh um, nothing," Riker said, trying to come up with an excuse.

"I know you said something but I couldn't really hear it, all I heard is someone's got a girlfriend?" Blake said sounding like a question.

"Uh, no, I didn't say anything," Riker said.

"Hmm ok," Blake said shrugging it off.

"Well, um, we should go to sleep and hope Nyra wakes up tomorrow," Echo said, trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, I'm tired," Riker said, yawning.

"Ok, well goodnight guys," Echo said, going upstairs in her room.

"I'll stay in one of the guest rooms down here just in case Nyra wakes up or something," Blake said, walking down the hallway into the guest room next to Nyra's.

"Ok, I'll sleep on the couch," Myles said.

"And I will sleep on the floor," Riker said.

"Riker, you know there are 2 extra rooms," Myles said getting two blankets from the closet.

"I know, but the floor is comfortable," Riker said.

"If you say so... catch," Myles said, throwing Riker blanket.

"Thanks," Riker said.

"No prob goodnight," Myles said, laying on the couch.

"Goodnight," Riker said, and they both fell asleep.
