"May i join you?" The question was voiced in such a way that only a gentlemen could.

It was about 7 am, breakfast was a plat of bloody sausages and toast, Roy was halfway through his serving when Girard made himself known. Dressed in a dark three piece suit and a top hat.

The alpha nodded.

Girard uncovered his head, hooking both hat and cane at the back of his seat before lowering himself down.

They sat in silence, nothing but utensil clicking against fine china and polite chewing.

"You don't seem curious" The vampire stated. Roy raised his head, meeting his grey eyes with his own dark pair.

"About what?"

"About, me, my sister, about your so called mate" He spat out the last word with a smirk that contradicted his polite appearance. Roy ignored it.

"Should i be?"

Girard swung an arm over the back of his chair and tapped a toon on the wood, his eyes searching the alpha's. Then when he seemed to find what he was looking for he nodded and placed the same arm on the table, but not the elbow, that would be rude.

"I supposed not" He began. "Even without your interjection, things are smoothly going your way." He leaned back on his seat and crossed a leg over the other.

"Sylviana just informed me this morning. Aaron will be staying here" He paused, running a free hand through his hair and then placing it on his lap . One arm hanging over his bent knee, the other on the table. "And she's done trying to convince him otherwise"

"Why don't you?" Roy voice was void of any and all interest. Girard almost laughed. He was being entertained by a man 1/10th  his age.

"Do you know how Aaron grew up?" He asked but didn't await a response. "Locked between 4 reinforced wall." Roy fingers dug into the smooth table dressing. " The door was the finnest and thickest steel, titanium, only the best locks installed on the outside, his window was bulletproof, opened automatically on a timer. And when they opened they were barred, preventing his escape."

By the end of Girard's description, Roy was on his feet. His hand locked behind his back as he refused every fiber of his being. Begging him to rip the life out of the man calmly sitting before him.

"His meals" Girard went on, staring blankly at where the alpha once sat. " Were made by the best but delivered through a slot in the door." He met Roy's eyes' then. "Must i go on or do you get the idea?" His finger tapped thrice against the surface and he sighed, voice strong as he admitted. "I was the one that installed it all"

"Do you want to know why?" He asked, Roy advanced on him, Girard didn't seemed to mind. "I'll tell you anyway. When he was 7 he pulled out my third born's right eye" He said all of this in a fast tone. Even with his superior hearing Roy hardly heard it but when he did, it had the desired effect. Curiosity shone in his eyes, the rage and irritation swirling around it.

"My son is a century older then him, naive but yet able. Yet Aaron," Girard trailled off. "It wasn't an accident, he did it purposefully, so perfectly that the most foolish unskilled sergent could reinstalled it. And as my boy cursed and trashed in pain. Aaron simply held onto the eye and laughed. Taking pleasure in his pain. That is who your mate is." Girard declared, leaning forward, closer to the man that wanted nothing more than to rip him apart.

"I love my nephew" There was no doubt in his words, no hesitation. "I sometimes wish he was my son. Had he been of us, trully one of us, maybe not 100% pure breed. If only 50 or 15%." Girard sounded anxious, desperate and disapointed.  "Aaron is smart, determined, and when he wants to be, charming. But love doesn't shield my eyes from the truth that is Aaron de la sanguis. If anything, it made it easier for me to accept. Taking the decision to lock him away was hard on all of us. And none took it harder then Sylviana. She raised him from infant, he is her only child. And she, his one and only mother." Girard sighed. "And she failed to convince him, do you think i'd succeed?"
