𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲
THAT NIGHT I SPENT HOURS googling about palefaces and other things like them. I had come to the conclusion in the end that they were vampires. I had even more proof when they didn't show up on the sunniest day yet.
Later that night Bella went dress shopping with Angela and Jess, I declined because I already had a dress. I sit in my room reading when I hear a tap at the window. I open my window to see Jasper standing down on the grass.
"Come down here" he whisper yells. I nod and run downstairs and out the front door. "What are you doing here?" I ask confused. "Edward texted me saying that he was with Bella and that you weren't responding to Bella's calls" He says.
I look at my phone to see three missed calls from Bella "Why's she calling me, is she okay?" I ask frantically. "A group of men tried to get her to do some things but Edward got there just in time" he says. "Oh my god, where is she" I say.
"It's okay Nova, Bella is eating dinner with Edward and then she's coming home" he reassures. "Thank you" I say. He nods and goes to leave.
"I know" I call out. He stops and slowly turns around "Know what?" he plays dumb. "What you are" I say. He gulps "Say it Nova".
"Vampire" I whisper. "Are you scared?" he asks. "No" I answer. "You should be Elenova" he says. "If you wanted to hurt me, you would of" I tell him. "It's not that simple, everything about me puts you in danger. You knowing puts you in danger" he says.
"I've killed people" he says. "I don't care Jasper, stop trying to scare me off" I say. He suddenly speeds closer to me. "Meet me here tomorrow morning at six am" he says. I nod and watch as he leaves.

I wake up at 5:30 and get ready. I sneak downstairs and make my way to the forest opening. I see Jasper standing there waiting. "ready?" he ask. "for wha-" suddenly I'm on his back and he's speeding through the forest.
The trees become one massive blur causing me to close my eyes. We come to a stop and I peek one of my eyes open. We're at the top of the mountains. "This is why we don't show ourselves in the sunlight" he says as he steps out into the sun.
The sun turns his pale skin into millions of tiny silver sparkles. "It's like your skin's made out of diamonds" I say staring at him in awe. "This is the skin of a killer Nova" he says seriously. "Jasper, I don't care" I say as I hold his face in my hands.
He sighs "You'll never see me as the bad guy will you?" he asks. "Nope" I whisper.
That day Jasper and I spent the whole day together. Everything about him fascinated me and drew me in. He was one of the most interesting people I had ever met.
