𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲
I STEP OFF OF PAUL'S BIKE as he stops the engine. "We're here" he says as I pass him my helmet. "Where exactly is here?" I ask confused. "This is where the pack hangs out, Sam's girlfriend, Emily lives here" he says.
"Paul, aren't I known as Vampire girl, this isn't a good idea" I say. "Is alright, I imprinted on you, that means they can't harm you" he says nonchalantly. "Great, that's puts my mind at ease" I say sarcastically.
Paul laughs as what I'm guessing is some of the pack runs outside. "This is Nova" Paul says as they come up to us. "This is Quil, Embry and Jared" He says pointing to each of them.
"It's nice to meet you all" I say as they nod and welcome me. Then a women with a scars running down the left side of her face comes outside. "Hi you must be Nova, I'm Emily!" she says excitedly.
"Yeah, nice to meet you" I say as she pulls me into a hug.

After hanging out at the Rez, Paul took me home. I sat in my room when Jasper came in through the window. "Hey, what are you doing here" I ask as he stands in front of me.
"Do you have any idea how worried I've been?" He asks annoyed. "I was fine Jazz, I was with Paul" I say. He suddenly freezes and breathes in through his nose.
"I know I smell like dog, I'm sorry" I say. He shakes his head and picks up one of my t-shirts. "Jasper, that's my favourite shirt" I say so he won't ruin it.
"It's not that, someone's been in here" He says brushing over my last comment about my shirt.
He rushes out to Bella's room, me following closely behind. "You're getting this scent right?" Jasper asks Edward. He just nods "Do you recognise it?" Edward asks. Jasper shakes his head and takes my hand.

Myself, Bella and the Cullen family sit in the living room of their house talking about the mystery vampire. Carlisle stands with Edward and Esme as Alice and Bella sit next to each other on the couch. I sit with Rosalie on a smaller couch as Jasper stands behind me.
"Do we know who it is?" Carlisle asks. "No it's a stranger." Edward answers. "Maybe it was a nomad, passing through" Esme says.
Rose shakes her head "No a passer-by wouldn't have left their father alive." she says. Suddenly Emmett and Sam walk into the room "The scent disappeared about five miles south" Sam says.
"Someone's orchestrating this" Carlisle realises. "Victoria?" Bella guesses. "I would have seen her decide" Alice says. "It has to be the Volturi" Edward says.
"I don't think it's the Volturi, either. I've been watching Aro's decisions too" Alice tells us. "So we'll keep looking" Jasper speaks from behind me.
"We'll also take shifts guarding Bella and Nova's house" Carlisle decides. "Another protection deal" Rosalie says glaring at Bella. "Rosalie" Carlisle scolds.
"No, she's right. You can't protect us, watch our dad and search for the intruder. And keep yourselves fed." I say. "Well we're not going to leave you defenceless." Jasper says placing his hand on my shoulder.
"Well, I'm not going to let you starve, and we wouldn't be unprotected we have.." I trail off. "what?" Edward and Jasper both ask.

Paul and Jake follow me and Bella out the house and towards Jasper and Edward. "They left their stink behind, it's gonna be pretty hard to miss" Jake says. "Yeah we can handle it from here" Paul says. I give him a small smile as a thanks and he nods.
Jasper sees and tenses up "We don't need you to handle anything. Or anyone" He says coldly. "I couldn't care less what you need" Paul says annoyed.
"We're done here" Edward says equally as mad. "No, you're done here!" Jake says taking a step forward. "Stop! I'm tired of this!" Bella yells.
"Yeah, from now on, we're Switzerland, okay?" I say annoyed.

A week later I was again sat in the Cullen's living room beside Emmett. We sat watching the news until Bella and Edward came in.
"It's new-borns" Edward says. "What like new vampires" Bella asks. I already new exactly what new-borns were from when Jasper had told me about his past. "The first few months after change." Edward explains.
"That's when we're at our most uncontrollable. Vicious" Jasper says. Knowing this made him uncomfortable I got up and sat beside him, grabbing his hand and placing it in mine. He turns and gives me a small smile before turning back to Bella.
"Insane with first" he says. I lean my head on his shoulder, soon after he places his head on mine. "Something to look forward to" Emmett smirks. "No one's trained these new-borns, but this isn't random." Jasper explains.
"Someone's creating an army" Carlisle concludes. "Now we're definitely going to Seattle" Emmett says getting excited. That was the thing about Emmett, he could have been told the worst news in the world and find something good about it. He made every situation better.
"An army of vampires?" Bella asks. "And they've been created to fight someone" Jasper adds. "We're the only Clan close to Seattle" Edward realises.
"Regardless where they were made, if we don't put a stop to them, the Volturi will. I'm surprised they've let it go on this long." Carlisle says. "Maybe they're behind it" Edward suggests again.
"In Italy, I read Aro's mind, He wants me and Alice to join him. He knows we'll never choose him as long as our family's still alive." Edward admits. Jasper squeezes my hand slightly "An army could solve that for him." Jasper realises.
