"No, they're coming here..."

I STOOD NEXT TO Jasper in a private room with Alice, Sam, Bella, Jake, Edward and Carlisle. "They'll be here in four days" Alice tells us. Jasper puts his arm around my waist as we listen to what Alice has to say.
"Who's behind it?" Carlisle asks. "I didn't see anyone I recognised" she pauses for a moment. "maybe one.." she says. Edward reads Alice's thoughts and sees the vision himself "I know his face. He's local. Riley Biers. He didn't start this." Edward says.
"Whoever did is staying out of the action" Alice concludes. "They must be playing with the blind spots in your vision." Carlisle realises.
"Either way, the army is coming and there aren't enough of us to protect the town." Jasper says from beside me. "Hold up, what damn army?" Jake asks. "New-borns, our kind." Carlisle answers.
"What are they after?". "They were passing around Bella and Nova's scents. A red and White blouse each" Alice tells us. "They're after Bella and Nova, what the hell does that mean?" Jake asks.
"It means an ugly fight with lives lost." Carlisle says calmly. "All right. We're in." Jake says. "Jacob do you think Sam would agree to an understanding?" Carlisle asks.
"As long as we get to kill some vampires." Jake says. "Jasper?" Carlisle asks. "They'll give us the numbers. New-borns won't know they even exist. That'll give us an edge" he agrees.
"We'll need to train. Fighting new-borns requires knowledge that Jasper has. You're welcome to join us" Carlisle says.

Emmett flew through the sky and landed on his back. I started laughing as I stood next to Rose. Rosalie playfully slapped me on the arm and shushed me as Emmett shouted 'again' so Jasper got ready again.
I was standing with Jasper as Edward and Bella arrived. As soon as they did the werewolves came out in their wolf forms.
I noticed Paul and gave him a small smile. "They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms." Edward tells us. "They came. That's what matters." Carlisle says.
I stepped away from Jasper and stood with Rose and Emmett. Carlisle stepped forward to welcome the pack.
"Welcome, Jasper has experience with new-borns. He'll teach us how to defeat them." Carlisle says. "They wanna know how the new-borns differ from us." Edward says to Carlisle.
"They're a great deal stronger than us, because their own human blood lingers in their issues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life." Carlisle explains.
Jasper steps forward, his hands behind his back "Carlisle's right. That's why they are created. A new-born army doesn't need thousands, like a human army. But no human army can stand against them. Now the two most important things to remember are, first: never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. And second; never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that.. And you will loose"

First up was Emmett against Jasper, I stood beside Rose as she put her arm around my shoulders. The vampires fought for a while and I whispered in Rose's ear "Is it just me or is this really hot" I ask her.
She laughs but agrees with me nonetheless "yes, it isn't just you". Then it was Rose's turn "Go on Rose" I cheer.
She smirks at me before walking up to Jasper. "Hey! Aren't you meant to be cheering for me?" Jasper asks.
I chuckle and shake my head as they start fighting. Then Alice fights Sam which ends up with them kissing.

A little after the wolves left I noticed Bella talking to Jasper by the jeep so I decided to go join them. They were talking about Jasper's history with Maria.
"And then Alice told me I would meet Nova" Jasper says to Bella. "Took us long enough." I joke making my presence known.
I smile up at Jasper as I hug his arm as and he smiles down at me. "My apologies ma'am" he says with a slight smirk.
He turns back to Bella with a smile "I don't know what I'd have become without her" he tells her before looking back at me.
"You'll never have to go through that again, I promise" I say bringing him in for a soft kiss. Bella looks away and smiles.

The next day I stood in the field beside Jasper with Bella and Edward. Paul and Jake showed, shirtless, of course.
"Not fighting, did you pull a muscle?" Jake says to Edward. "He's doing it for me, okay" Bella says trying to keep the peace.
"So are you fighting" Paul asks Jasper. I had convinced Jasper to fight and stay with his family, I was going to be okay with Edward, Paul and Jake.
"I'm fighting" he says calmly, he wanted to stay with me though. "Whatever just tell us the plan" Jake says.
"This field will give us an advantage in the battle. We need to lure the new-borns with Nova's and Bella's scents. But it needs to end here." Jasper starts.
"Us three are going to a campsite. Even if we were to carry them, the new-borns would still pick up on their scents. Your stenches however are revolting." Edward says.
"Dude, you really don't wanna start comparing stinks." Jake says annoyed. "What he means is that your scents will mask ours if you carry us" I say to the werewolves.
"Done" they both say. "This is not a good idea" Edward says. Jasper turns to him "As much as I hate the idea myself, they won't want to go anywhere near there... odours." Jasper says.
I give him a small smile before walking over to Paul. I place my arm around the back of his neck as he picks me up like I way nothing. "Run" Edward says.
As we walk ahead of Bella and Jake I turn to Paul "this is actually kind of fun" I say. He raises an eyebrow at me "No, not getting hunted by some sociopathic vampire, being carried around everywhere." I say.
He chuckles "So are you gonna ask me to sit out of the fight or what?" he jokes. I smile "I was actually thinking you should, I mean there are two tents and I don't want to be on my own, who will I play Uno with?" I joke.
"Of course, anything for you Nova" he smiles.

When Bella drops us home Alice is walking out of the house joking with my dad. "Your alibis for the battle have been arranged" she tells us. "really?" Bella asks.
"I told your father that our whole family is going camping this weekend, so we are having a sleepover at my house." Alice tells us.
"Charlie's going fishing this weekend anyway" she tells us. "Charlie? You guys are on first name basis now?" I ask laughing slightly.
"Me, he likes. Actually it will just be you two and Edward and Jasper tonight" she says. I nod "okay." I say unfazed.
Bella starts to clearly worry "like alone?" she asks. "Yeah, we're going hunting, for the big battle. Jasper went earlier" she tells me the last part. "you're welcome" she says.
