"THEY'RE GOING TO THE VOLTURI, they want to die too" Alice panics. We run to the car whist Jake tries to stop us. I get into the passengers seat as Bella climbs in the back. Alice speeds to the airport.
When we arrive in Italy, Alice steals a sports car so we can get there quickly. We arrive at Volterra and the streets are jam packed with people for the festival. "Bella, Nova, you're the only ones they can't see coming if I go Edward will read my thoughts, he'll think I'm lying. They'll rush into it" she says.
"Where do we go" I ask. "They'll be under the clock tower. Go!" she yells. We take off running, I go left as Bella goes right. On my way I shove as many people as I can out the way. "MOVE!" I yell. That's when the bell rang, I looked to the church to see Edward and Jasper step outside. I look at Bella and nod, we run through the fountain and towards them.
Just as Jasper takes his shirt off I jump into his arms shielding his body from the sun. "Nova" he says as if he's imagining it. "Jasper, Jazz, open your eyes for fu-" he opens his eyes and hugs me. I push him back into the church. "You're alive, you're here!" he says chuckling slightly.
"I'm fine and I'm here" I confirm. He puts his hand on my cheek, stroking my skin as I stare into his eyes. "I can go now, I didn't want you to kill yourself out of guilt" I say. He frowns and pushes my hair out of my face "Elenova, I didn't try to kill myself because I felt guilty, I tried to kill myself because I can't live without you" he admits.
"I'm mad at you for leaving me but I'm going to kiss you anyway" I say before pulling him into a long, way overdue kiss. "God have I missed that" He says smiling as we pull away.
Suddenly two red eyed vampires step out, Jasper Immediately pulls me into him more. "We won't be needing your services anymore gentlemen" Jasper says, his accent standing out more than ever.
"Aro wants to speak with you again" The taller one says. "No rules were broken" Edward says. "Nonetheless, we should take this conversation to a more appropriate venue." the shorter one speaks up.
"Fine, Bella, Nova, why don't you go enjoy the rest of the festival" Edward says. "The girls come with us" one vampire says. "You can go to hell!" Jasper says from beside me. Suddenly the door opens behind us and Alice comes inside.
"Come on guys, it's a festival, we wouldn't want to make a scene." Alice says. "We wouldn't" the tall one says. A small red eyed blonde girl comes walking towards us. "Aro sent me to see what was taking so long" she says.
We follow her down to a room where three guys sit in thrones before us. "Sister I send you out to get two but instead you come back with three and two halves" the guy on the right with blonde hair says.
"What a surprise!" The vampire in the middle, who I guess is Aro says excitedly. "Bella and Nova are alive after all! Isn't that wonderful. I love a happy ending" he says.
"Aro can read any thought I've ever had with just one touch" Edward explains to us. "And now you know everything so get on with it" he says after he takes both Edward's and Jasper's hands.
"You are quite a soul reader yourself Edward, yet you cant read Bella's or Nova's thoughts. And Jasper, you can change and read emotions and yet you can't feel Nova's emotions. Fascinating." Aro says.
"I would love to see if either of you are an exception to my gifts as well" he says. He takes Bella's hand first "Interesting, I see nothing" he says as he walks to me. I place my hand into his and he spaces out for a short moment "And with Nova, I can only see certain parts of her memories, for instance, what you have done this past week" he says smirking.
I shiver at the thought of him seeing my thoughts as I notice out of the corner of my eye Jasper looking confused. "Let's see if Bella's immune to all our powers" he says. "Jane" he signals.
Although before Jane can try Edward runs forward "Pain" she says. Edward falls to the ground groaning as I look into Jaspers shoulder. "Stop hurting him" Bella shouts. Jane stops and turns to Aro. "Should I try my powers on them" she asks.
"Go ahead my dear" Aro says. Jane first tries it on me. I groan as I feel a pain in my head. "Are you okay?" Jasper asks. I nod "it just feels like a headache" I say. Jane stops and tries it on Bella who doesn't feel a thing.
Aro laughs "Remarkable" he says as he claps his hands together. "So, what do we do with you now?" Aro says.
"You already know what you're going to do Aro, they know to much, they're a liability" Blonde guy says.
