𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲
"TANYA CONVINCED IRINA to reconcile with us" Carlisle says as he sits on the couch. Edward sat at his piano, Renesmee by his side.
I sat on the other end of the couch besides Jasper as Elizabeth sat on his lap. I platted her hair as she played with Jasper's rings as he listened to Carlisle.
"Looks like she changed her mind" Edward says. "Seeing Jacob, must have been to much for her." Esme says, smiling when she catches they eye of Lizzie.
"I wish I could have just spoken to her" Bella sighs. Carlisle sits back, putting his arm around his wife in the progress. "She's family, she'll come around." he reassures.
Edward starts playing the piano as Elizabeth gets up and runs to the piano. She sits beside Renesmee and Edward smiles as she comes over. I put my head on Jasper's shoulder and he places his head on mine, sitting listening to the music.
In that moment there was nothing I wanted more than for it to be like that forever.

A little while later Edward was still playing the piano except Elizabeth was sitting beside me as we watched. Alice came in, holding a vase of flowers when she dropped them, smashing the glass. She had a vision.
Sam speeds to her side and places her hand on the small of Alice's back. "What is it, Alice?" she asks. "The Volturi. They're coming for us. Aro, Marcus, Cauis, the guard and Irina." she says quietly.
"Honey, come here" Bella says pulling Renesmee over to her. My grip tightened slightly on Jasper's hand knowing she saw the girls. "What did she see in the woods?" Edward asks. "We were just walking" I answer.
"The girls were catching snowflakes" Jake adds. "Of course. Irina think the girls are Immortal children" Edward says. "Immortal wha-" I say confused.

"Immortal children were very beautiful. So enchanting. To be near them was to love them. But their development was frozen at the age they were turned. They couldn't be taught or restrained. A single tantrum could destroy an entire village. Their creators grew very attached and fought to protect them. Long-established covens were torn apart. Countless humans slaughtered. Traditions, friends even families lost." Carlisle explained.
"So the Denali's mother created an immortal child?" Bella asked. "Yes. And she paid the price" He says sadly. "Well Elizabeth and Renesmee are nothing like those children. They were both born, not bitten. They grow every single day." I say confused.
"So can't you just explain that to the Volturi?" Jake asks. "Aro has enough proof in Irina's thoughts." Jasper says putting his hand on my shoulder.
"So we fight" Jake says annoyed. "Their offensive weapons are too powerful. No one can stand against Jane" Jasper says. "Alec's even worse" Alice says from beside Sam.
"Well then we convince them!" Bella says. "They're coming to kill us, not to talk" Emmett says. "No, you're right. They won't listen to us. But maybe others can. Carlisle you have friends all around the world." Edward says.
"I won't ask them to fight" Carlisle says crossing his arms. "Not fight, witness. If enough people know the truth maybe we can convince the Volturi to listen." Edward says.
"We can ask this of our friends" Esme says to Carlisle.

Just as we were getting ready to leave, Jake noticed Sam outside. We all walked outside and he passed Jake a note. "Alice ask me to give this to you, she and Sam crossed our land to the Ocean last night" he explains.
"They left us" Carlisle says looking at the note. "Why?" I ask confused. "It doesn't say" he tells me giving me a small, reassuring smile.
The note read 'Gather as many witnesses as you can, before the snow sticks to the ground. That's when they'll come.'
