𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿
I WALK INTO THE DINER, leaving Bella to talk to Mike. "Hey dad" I say as I take a seat. "Hey Nova, how was your day" he asks. "Good" I say smiling over the memory of me and Jasper sitting in his room all day, him reading to me and me making him watch the Truman show.
Jasper had also told me about how he was turned by Maria, explaining all his 'battle scars'.
"Good, I ordered you both a spinach salad, I hope that's ok" he says as Bella walks in. "That's fine" Bella says as I nod. "Say, chief, the boys want to know, did you find anything down by Queets river today?" The waitress asks.
"Yeah, we found a bare human foot print, but it looks like whoever that is, is headed east, so Kitsap County Sheriff is gonna take over from here" he tells her. "okay, I just hope they catch him fast" she says sadly.
"Looks like your friends are flagging you" he says to us. "It's okay if you want to join them, I'm just gonna turn in early anyway" Charlie offers.
"I'm good" Bella says. "Come on Bella it's Friday night, live a little" Charlie says. "What about you Nova, got any plans" he asks. "Yeah, I'm going shopping in Port Angeles with some friends" I say.
"Okay, Newton kid has a smile for you Bella" He notices. "Yeah, he's a good buddy" she friends zones mike. "What about any of these other yahoos in town?" he asks.
"Oh look at the time, I have to go" I say standing up and leaving before I get asked about boys.

I walk out of the diner and Alice pulls up with Rosalie. "Hey, how did you now I was leaving early?" I ask then immediately stopping her from answering "You can see the future, how do I forget that" I mutter.
"Come on, get in before the store runs out of dresses" she yells. I laugh and get into the back. "Hey Rose" I say as she flashes me a smile "Hey Nova" she replies.
Alice speeds through the town and out into Port Angeles. When we get there, they take me to a boutique. Alice picks up a small red dress and holds it against her tiny body. "What about this?" she asks.
"It would look great on you Al" I say truthfully. She giggles and goes to by it. I see Rosalie standing by this purple dress clearly contemplating whether to buy it. "Purple's your colour Rose" I take note. She smiles "I know" I laugh as she pulls out a stunning long green prom dress. "And green is your colour" she sings.
"That dress is gorgeous but I'm wearing my prom dress from last year" I say. "No. no no" Alice protests holding it against my body. "You have to get this" she says excitedly. "have you seen the price" I say stunned.
"Let us pay for it" Rose offers. "I can't do that Rose" I protest. "Oops, I just paid for it" Alice says. I laugh at how ridiculous she is "I'm going to pay you back" I insist.
"Don't bother, your with Jasper which means your family." Alice says. I smile and hug them "Thank you" I say.

We walk down the street and as we pass an arcade I notice Emmett inside with Sam. "Is that Emmett" I ask Rose. "Yeah, come on" she says as she pulls me inside, Alice in tow.
"Hey babe" Emmett says when he notices us. "hey, booster!" he yells as he pulls me into a hug. "Hey Emmett, what's with booster?" I ask. "Because you need a booster seat at the cinema, no?" he asks laughing.
I elbow him "what are you playing?" I ask. "Pac man, but I can't beat this stupid high score" he sighs. I push him aside and start playing. After a few minutes I win. "This game is easy Em" I say. "But how?" he groans.
I laugh and he insists we play another game. We decide on playing this two player game and Emmett continues to cheat. "Stop elbowing me because I'm winning" I yell at him. He laughs and overtakes me in the game and wins.
"That's not fair, you clearly cheated" I groan. Emmett laughs, his deep voices booming throughout the arcade "Sorry booster" he says. I roll my eyes at the nickname and pick up my bag and follow him outside.

Once I get home, I rush up to my room and put my bag down on the floor. I fall back onto my bed and feel a breeze coming from my window. I look to my window to see Jasper standing in front of it. "Hey" I say as he comes and sits on my bed.
"Hi, how was shopping with my Alice and Rosalie" he asks sceptically. "It was fun, we met with Emmett and Sam at an arcade. I kicked Emmett's ass at Pac man and then he decided to cheat at a game".
"Emmett does tend to cheat at games" he admits. I laugh and sit beside him. "Have you come through my window before" I ask. "Yes, I like to be here as you sleep, it's fascinating." he says.
I smile "Did you take my drawing?" I ask. He takes a sheet of paper out his pocket "You mean this?" he asks showing me the picture I drew of him. "Yes, now give it back" I say as I go to take it off of him. "No way" he says laughing holding behind his back.
I smile and kiss him, he kisses me back and just before we are about to pull away I snatch the drawing out from behind him. I laugh as he smiles at me "That's so unfair" he says. "No, I just took advantage of a really good situation." I defend myself.
"You should do that more often" He says leaning in to kiss me, just as I'm about to kiss him he places his hands on my ribs and starts to tickle me, I laugh so loudly that I'm sure the whole of Forks would have heard it.
"Charlie's coming up" he whispers and disappears into my closet. "Hey Nova I heard you yell, you okay?" he asks. I point to the phone that I had pressed against my ear before he came in. "Yeah I'm just laughing at something my friend said" I lie although he seems to believe it and leaves.
"How does it feel to be out of the closet" I ask with a small laugh as he walks out. "Shut up and kiss me" he says with a huge grin on his face.
