Damian's pov:

"I think we should tell them about what's going to happen, they deserve to know. They need to prepare, after all we need to work together, we are all in danger." Raven said. What? Why is she saying this now, we decided it's for the good of everyone to keep this knowledge private. "Raven, we are keeping this a secret for a reason, of course we should tell them but now is not the time. Once you have finished as much training and practices of magic you can, we know we'll have a chance and that would be a more suitable time to tell them. They deserve to know but they also deserve hope, which is hard to find in a situation like this. Everyone needs to be in the right state of mind, we can't have any mistakes made or it will cost lives. I trust you but think about this clearly." "Your right, I'm sorry that was stupid of me, I especially need to think clearly in this situation but I'm letting my emotions cloud my judgement which we can't afford." "We can get through this, I know it." I reassured her. I have my doubts about this too but I can't show any signs of it because she believes in me and if I don't reassure her then she can't be at her strongest. From experience I know that even the best fighters require motivation and the strongest motivation is hope. I'm starting to believe that maybe we actually have a chance of putting an end to Trigon, wether it's putting him back in a jewel for the next few years or permanently. Personally I would rather the second option, but as long as he is stopped then I'm willing to do whatever it takes. "I really hope so." She replied with uncertainty. "Now come, are you sure you want to miss out on training? We wouldn't want anyone to get suspicious." "I guess not, I'm sure some training will help clear my head and I should take advantage of any time to prepare myself."

"I'm impressed Donna, beating Garfield and Jaime in one sparing session is not easy, you must really have a lot of energy." Dick complemented. "Yeah I think it's the carbs from the Big Mac burger I ate." She replied. "What's up with you guys? you just left." "Sorry about that I just had a quick nap and Damian joined me." Raven responded. Not the best excuse Raven, I don't nap. "You went for a nap, is that all you did?" Garfield asked with suspicion and then he winked at us. I think he's thinking of something else, he's getting the wrong idea but that's better than them finding out what we are really up to. Grayson had a surprised expression. What? You think I don't do anything intimate? "Don't look so surprised, we've all done it." Donna pointed out. "I just think that you are a bit young, it's something you should be doing more when your adults." Dick argued.  "We are practically sixteen!" Garfield responded. "Anyways, would you guys like to use the holograms next?" Dick changed the subject. "Sure." Raven replied. Me and Raven have trained extra recently, I'm looking forward to making my teammates, Garfield in particular, loose miserably. Raven's right, they deserve to know and they deserve to have time to prepare for Trigon escaping, she can't hold him in for much longer, it's making her feel sick.

Like I predicted, they lost miserably against us, I felt rather satisfied at Garfield's smug grin leaving his face. I deserve to relish this victory, he's always an asshole when he wins. We carried on training for the rest of the day, and then decided to go off and spend the rest of the evening watching television.

Raven's pov:
I practiced a new spell Zatanna taught me, it was a spell to control the elements around me and make it into a weapon against my father. But no matter how hard I tried, it just didn't seem to work, it was very frustrating. As I've been practicing magic more, I have remembered lots of memories about my mother I never remembered having. I felt a spiritual connection to her the more I used magic. But not demons and evil spirits, but an angelic and pure spirit. Constantine suggested that I should try to communicate with her, she may be dead but I can still communicate with her spirit through magic. I always believed in ghosts and spirits but never thought about trying to reach out to mum. It all makes sense now, when I use magic I feel a connection to her, I might be able to see her again, to talk to her again and apologise for my reckless actions causing her death. After I practice this spell I will try to reach out, she may even help me defeat father, she might know something. I don't believe it was just a one night stand that happened between them, she also must of known about him before she offered herself to him. The best part is father has no idea what I'm planning, I learnt how to block my thoughts from him so he doesn't know what I'm thinking.

I finally learnt the spell, using the elements around me against dad will be empowering to say the least. Damian doesn't know I want to communicate with mother, I just want to talk to her, in private. I knew how to do a basic spell to communicate with the dead, but this feels a bit more complicated. Mum isn't the average human ghost, she had the ability to use magic so maybe I could use that to meet her in private where no one will find us. I let my power flow through my veins and I let the connection between us help me find my way to her. I suddenly felt light headed, I felt myself loose consciousness. It felt like I was falling, like time stopped and I was in a dark abyss. It was completely silent, not one soul was there, I was alone in the shadows until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I felt a figure standing right behind me, my heart beat getting quicker and quicker. I tried to scream but was shushed by a slender finger placed on my lips.  "It's about time you gave me a visit, Raven." A soft voice spoke. I knew that voice but I felt uneasy, I haven't heard that soothing voice in years.  "Mum."

Garfield's pov:

"For fuck sake, why do you always win?" Connor shouted angrily.  Jeez why is he so worked up, he's nearly as competitive as Damian.  "Dude chill out, it's just a game." Jaime stated.  "I know but that bastard always beats me!"   "That's because I'm better than you, don't be a sore looser." I replied.  "Garfield stop being an arrogant prick." Jaime warned. I'm not being an arrogant prick, I'm just stating facts. I huffed before putting the remote down and going outside the room for a breather. I'm not the one who should be taking a breather yet here I am standing out here. I had a great idea, why don't I go and annoy the girls. I went to Donna's room, she was reading her cheesy Twilight novels. Eww who likes that shit?   "What?" She asked impatiently, looking up from her book at me. What a grouchy teenager, she's similar to Connor in a lot of ways, they are perfect for each other. "What's with the rude greeting, can't I just check up on my friend?" I asked.  "You don't check on your friends though, so what do you want?"   "I'm bored." I replied sitting on her bead next to her.  "So just because you were bored you thought it would be nice to intrude on me reading and annoy me?"   "Yes that's a perfectly  good reason and it seems to be working."   "And you call me rude, your a dumb ass, go and bother someone else."   "So why are you reading Twilight?" I changed the subject.  "Because they are the absolute best romance stories out there."   "They are cheesy, it makes me want to puke."   "Shut your mouth! You have no taste in books so don't come here and judge me."    "But vampires, seriously? What's with girls being into psychotic men that seduce their prey and drink their blood?"   "Yeah it's weird, there's something hot about them though. But Twilight isn't like that, Edward doesn't drink human blood, he drinks animal blood and it's a sweet romance between two high schoolers."    "The whole concept is weird though, it's gross that they feed off blood, isn't that kind of cannibalism?"   "Well I guess because they aren't classified as humans it technically isn't cannibalism. Now will you clear off, I am in the middle of reading Bella's depression after being abandoned."   "Okay, I'm leaving." I responded, getting up and leaving her room. I decided to check on Raven to see what's she's up to, she's been in her room for a couple hours now. I knocked on her door but there was no reply. The door was left ajar so I let myself in. Raven was lying on the floor unconscious.  "Raven, wake up!"  What the hell happened?!
