Kori's pov:
We finally found the perfect spot for our tent, and yes we were all going to share a giant tent, to make things more fun. However I got the impression that the other Titans thought otherwise. So far so good, we finished putting up the tent with some team effort, making sure not to use any powers because we wanted to keep a low profile without any public attention. "This is larger than I expected, where did you find a camping tent like this?" Damian asked, breaking the long silence. "A very kind man sold it to me on Facebook, I think his name was Bear Grylls." "Wait seriously?!" Jaime asked. "Yes." "Omg you bought a camping tent off the legendary Bear grylls!" Garfield exclaimed. "What's so legendary about this guy?" Raven asked. "Oh nothing really besides the fact he is one of the most famous adventurers of all time!" Jaime responded sarcastically. "Oh yes, I think I remember seeing him on tv." Dick chimed in. "That's so cool!" Connor exclaimed. "He's an intense guy, but also very brave, I admire his ambitions." Damian admitted. "I never thought I'd hear you say that." Dick replied with surprised expression. "Just because I dislike most people, mainly because of their intentions and attitudes, doesn't mean that there is no one I think is descent on television." Damian pointed out. "I'm still surprised." Dick stated and the other Titans nodded in agreement. "Guys I'm hungry!" Garfield whined. "Same, can we eat hot dogs now?" Donna asked impatiently. "Guys it's only three o'clock, we can eat after we do some fun activities!" I said. "How are you still hungry, we ate McDonald's three hours ago." Raven said. "Cause I just am, it's probably a puberty thing." Garfield guessed. "Hardly, you don't even have facial hair and your legs are very smooth, I'm actually a little jealous." Donna responded making us laugh. "Y'know I could of just shaved, but I'm not going to talk about it anymore." Garfield huffed. Poor Gar, that was a low blow. I decided to change the subject. "Let's go for a walk, we don't have this beautiful country side at home so we should make the most of it." I suggested. "That's a great idea!" Connor replied. We decided to leave our belongings in the tent and walk up the hills and through the woods. It was so beautiful, it was warm and the trees danced in the light wind so gracefully and when the sun started to set, the colours in the sky were so stunning, it made me feel relaxed and all the stress and worries of the past few days just disappeared. It reminded me of when mother and father took me and Komand'r to watch the sunset outside of the palace in Tamaran as a young girl. That was before my beloved sister was corrupted by power and greed and her mind was polluted with this obsession with the throne. People aren't who they seem, their destiny's aren't always what you expect I guess. "This place is perfect for meditation." Raven stated. "Yes, it is lovely." I replied calmly, letting my thoughts of my sister go. We walked further, talking about the Beauty of this place and also listening to Garfield whine because he was hungry. We entered the woods which was just as breathtaking and made sure to take some photos which we force the Titans to do on every trip for memories sake to hang on our wall. To our surprise, at the end of the woods was a large lake. "I so want to jump in there!" Donna admitted. "Me too, can we swim in the lake?" Jaime asked. "Go ahead." Dick replied. "What about our clothes?" I asked. "Who cares if our clothes get a little wet!" Garfield exclaimed, taking off his shoes and socks and jacket and jumping into the lake splashing us all with water. "Gar!" Raven shouted, running and jumping loudly in the lake splashing Garfield. I laughed and jumped in next, splashing Raven and Garfield. The others jumped in and joined in the fun.
Raven's pov:
I was talking to Kori when a giant splash knocked me over. "Damian!" I whined wiping my eyes. He snickered and grinned, making me want to wipe the grin off his smug face. I splashed him as hard as I could and to my satisfaction he no longer had a grin on his face. It was my turn to laugh at him. He had a competitive expression and splashed me again but much harder. We kept splashing away not realising that we accidentally splashed everyone else and they got involved. We we all splashing each other and were surprised when Dick sent a giant wave over us, completely wiping us out. "Woah, that was awesome!" Connor shouted. "Impressive, Grayson." Damian said. "Thanks I guess I'll take that as a compliment." We decided to get out after spending a couple hours playing in the lake. I shivered, regretting leaving my jacket in the tent. "Here, this should warm you up." Damian said, giving me his hoodie. "Thanks Damian." "No problem." I grabbed his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze and he looked at me with a warm smile that made me feel really grateful I had a boyfriend like him. We walked back to our tent hand in hand as the others walked ahead of us. "This is nice, spending quality time with you." I spoke up. "I wouldn't pick anyone else to spend this time with." Damian replied. "I like this side of you, the sweet and happy side." "Me too. I suppose this camping trip isn't so bad after all." I placed my hand on his face, cupping his cheek and pulled him into a tender kiss. We stood there for a while, kissing with a burning passion until we heard the others calling for us. "C'mon Guys, I'm hungry!" Garfield yelled impatiently. We laughed and walked back to our waiting team mates. We sat down in a circle and Dick lit a fire in the centre. We cooked sausages over the fire and then ate our delicious hot dogs, Garfield had the last one since he was starving. It was starting to get chilly and by then our clothes had dried so we wrapped up in blankets. Damian wrapped his arm around me and pulled me close, making me feel much warmer.
Nobody's pov:
"Let's tell scary stories!" Garfield suggested. "That sounds fun, do you have any you would like to tell us?" Kori asked. Damian rolled his eyes, knowing that nothing could really scare him, especially made up scary stories. "Many years ago, there was two boys who went camping in the woods. One was called Jimmy and the other was called Reed. Reed went to go and collect fire wood for the camp fire and Jimmy stayed in the tent. Reed found some twigs near the lake but got attacked by zombie, he was bitten in the arm and got infected by zombie blood. He was pushed into lake but he couldn't swim. What he didn't know was a hungry crocodile was swimming in the lake and Reed tried to get away but the crocodile swallowed him whole!"
The teens gasped, making Damian and Raven roll their eyes. "What happened to Jimmy?" Jaime asked.
"I'm getting to that part. The zombie found the tent with an army of other zombies in the night and ripped up the tent. Jimmy was so terrified he couldn't move. The zombies attacked him and pulled off his limbs one by one and devoured him leaving his bones. After that day, some campers found his bones but went missing and were never seen again!"
The Titans gasped but yet again Damian and Raven were not amused. "That was a great story Gar!" Donna complemented. "Thanks." Damian yawned. "Anyone want to hear a true story about hell?" Raven asked. Damian sat up with an intrigued expression. "I think that's enough for one night, who wants s'mores?" Kori changed the subject. She didn't want to hear a true story about hell because it was so awful and it upset her that Raven had to experience that horror. She didn't want it to kill the good mood of their evening. "I thought you'd never ask!" Garfield exclaimed, opening a bag of marshmallows and passing them around. They toasted marshmallows and ate a lot of s'mores. "Should we sing camp fire songs!" Kori exclaimed. "NO!" The Titans replied in unison. "Alright, we wouldn't want to torture them, babe." Dick reasoned. "Ok, we shall not sing wonderful camp fire songs if you don't want to." Kori responded. After a few hours of sitting around the camp fire and talking about old memories, they decided to get some sleep. They set up their sleeping bags and air beds and changed into their nightwear. The girls slept on one side of the tent and the boys on the other. "Lights out!" Dick commanded. "Dick, there are no lights." Kori pointed out "Oh yeah."
