"Lets go you little shits! Wake up!" Jasper screamed, walking down the hallway to Lous room with a wooden spoon and a pot, whacking the objects together to make a loud noise.
That was how Jace and Eloise had woken up every morning for the passed two nights.
Right after Jasper showed up, the group left to fight people called The Saviors to gain Hilltops trust, leaving Jasper in charge of Jace and Eloise while Carol and Daryl were gone.
Eloise shot up at the sound of her brother walking to her room. She quickly shook Carl awake from beside her and grabbed her pillow, throwing it at Enid and Jace who were sleeping on the floor. The three other teens shot up at her tries and she quickly pointed at Enid and Carl. "Switch! Switch! Switch!"
Enid quickly got out of the little bed made out of pillows and blankets on the floor and quickly took Carl's spot in the bed as he went to the floor. Just as Enid got under the covers, Jasper walked in. He gave an annoyed smile to the four teens. "Aw... Look at that. You think I'm stupid." Lou's fake smile dropped and Jasper sighed. "I'm going to hope you all aren't weird and didn't do anything. Now, come on. Breakfasts ready."
Eloise turned to Enid, holding back a smile as Enid did the same but as soon as their eyes met, their laughs escaped, making Jace and Carl laugh as well.
Eloise got out of the bed and walked down the stairs of the house, the rest of the teens behind her. She felt arms wrap around her shoulders from behind and felt a quick kiss get placed on her temple. "Good morning, Louie." Carl whispered and Eloise smiled, turning her head a little to face Carl. "Good morning."
Jace started fake gagging from behind the couple and Enid laughed, hitting his shoulder as they finally got to the first floor of the house.
They sat at the table as Jasper brought the last of the breakfast to the table. Carl and Eloise sat next to each other, Jace and Enid across from them and Jasper at the end of the table.
"So, Jace, Carl... How were the girls?" Jasper asked and all four teens choked, Eloise and Jace choking on their food while Enid and Carl choked on their drinks. "Uh... What?" Jace quietly asked and Jasper smiled. "Well, the passed few nights Enid has slept over, they've both been snoring. I didn't know if the snoring kept you guys up." Jace made an 'o' shape with his mouth, as Carl slowly nodded his head, finally understanding what Jasper was talking about. "They didn't snore so we're good." Carl said with a breathy laugh.
Jasper took a bite of his eggs, nodding his head. "Good. So the rest of the group should be back today." Eloise let out a little hum as a yes since her mouth was full before swallowing her food, using some orange juice to wash it down. There was suddenly a lot of chatter from outside the house and the five could make out many variations of "They're here" and "They're back!"
"Oh, well... I guess they're here now." Jasper sang quietly before practically swallowing the rest of his breakfast whole and walking out the door. Jace, Enid and Carl quickly finished their food while Eloise was still taking it slow. Enid and Jace ran out of the house while Carl watched Eloise with an amused smile. "You're taking a real long time."
