Eloise was squished between the passenger side door and Rosita in the small car they used to drive to their destination. Eloise was starting to get a headache from Daryl putting the car at a harsh break every ten feet because he didn't know how to drive stick shift.

Denise seemed to feel the same way as Eloise, turning to Daryl and awkwardly clearing her throat. "It's uh..." "What?" Daryl butted in, not liking how long Denise was taking to complete her thoughts. Denise shook her head and looked down. "Forget it." "No, what?" Daryl questioned again, wanting to know what she wad trying to say. "I think maybe you're disengaging it too soon. I've been driving stick since I was 15, usually beat up trucks like this. I mean... before you know, I left home."

Eloise rested her head on Rosita's shoulder as Denise continued to ramble. "My brother taught me, so I just know." Eloise closed her eyes at the sound of the gears of the truck clanking against each other from Daryl disengaging it again, trying to piss Denise off.

"Daryl." Rosita announced, making Eloise open her eyes and sigh at the huge tree in the middle of the road. As soon as Daryl stopped the truck, Eloise hopped out, Rosita and Daryl right after her. As she walked towards the tree, she could hear a faint sound of walker snarls, making her eyes fall to under the tree where a walker was reaching out to her. "I got it." Rosita spoke up, killing the walker as Eloise looked over the tree, noticing it's decaying form.

"It's tree rot. Not people." She quickly spoke up, pointing at the rotted parts of the wood. Rosita nodded, heading over to the truck to get Denise as Daryl patted Lou's shoulder. "Good eye."

"I found a bottle of booze. Any taker? Except the 16 year old?" Rosita cheered and after no one answer she groaned. "For later. I'm not bringing this to the pantry." Denise shook her head as she looked through her bag. "I'm good. They were kind of my parents' thing. Which is why they aren't mine."

Daryl groaned, tapping the top of Lou's head as if to say 'pay attention'. "This truck isn't gonna make it passed this tree. Come on, let's walk." Eloise went to follow Daryl until Denise spoke up. "Hold up! Looks like a straight shot if we follow the tracks."

"No. No tracks. We'll take the road." Daryl argued. "That's twice as far!" Rosita yelled from her spot beside Denise. "Go whichever way you like. Me and the kid are taking the road. Ain't taking no tracks." Daryl scoffed, grabbing Lou's arm and walking down the road.

After a while, Eloise heard Denise join them but they all stayed silent during the walk. Eloise kept trying to calm Daryl down but he was too pissed off to even process that she was trying to talk to him.

Over time, they reunited with Rosita who had a smirk on her face. "About time." Daryl just huffed, continuing his walk to the store, dragging Eloise beside him. Eloise turned around, mouthing 'sorry' to Rosita before looking back ahead.

When they got to the store, Daryl banged on the door and after getting nothing in return, he nodded his head. "All right, us three are gonna do this. You're gonna stay back, got it?" Daryl asked Denise who nodded her head.
